Same thing in my family. My son and nephew lived next door all their lives. They graduated together. They STILL live next door to each other. Jamie was paralyzed 15 years ago in a wreck on our road. Daniel, my son, was paralyzed in 2015 on the SAME road, two miles in the opposite direction. They live next door to each other and can be seen outside in their wheelchairs together.

M Detlef Um, it may not of even been their fault. The immediate thought of paralysis from a car wreck is what you were thinking either reckless driving, drink driving or speeding. But often, it is the other drivers fault, or if you’re a passenger it’s not even your fault. So please stop calling them “TWO STUPID IDIOTS” when you don’t really know what happened. My dads cousin (first, so a close one) died from a car wreck, in fact, it wasn’t even his fault. He was a passenger, the driver was sober and it happened in the early afternoon, so in the light. The other driver however was reckless and crashed into them. My dads cousin died on impact, from being shot out the back windscreen, simply because the car flipped. So, please be open minded about these sort of situations.

The most important piece of the story is missing: what was the accident and how did it cause his injuries? Sloppy journalism!

+oliviaLOVEShenry obviously the reason of the accident isn't one the family wants to brag about, and really it doesn't matter at this point

Apparently the dad was also paralyzed right after these brothers were paralyzed.
