I appreciate these videos, including the introductions that show drivers taking curves correctly at speed. I thought that the first couple of clips were entertaining, especially when a rally car advertising Kumho tires, loses grip in the corner and smacks the guard rail.

I suppose it depends on each race, but we can say that as a general rule between 80-90% finish the race. This is just a compilation of accidents

@@chopito There are almost no "rally cars" in this compilation. They are somewhat race-prepped passenger cars (esp the French lot of mostly non-race cars crashed by non-race drivers). I thought you knew the subject better than that. Some knucklehead unplugging his ABS doesn't make it a rally car, just makes it crash much more spectacularly. Good your business amirite.

@@richsackett3423 I think you don't know much about Rallying. They don't have it, but not because it is considered an aid to the driver (not even the WRCs have it). ABS does not work particularly well on loose surfaces, which are used almost exclusively in rallies, in fact ABS is a disadvantage on loose surfaces. You must be able to lock the wheels to change glide angles

@@chopito The guy's brakes were on fire because the braking system was compromised, nothing to do with "being a rally car". Enough to know that you can use the ABS as a tool to brake a lot harder and a lot later, resulting faster driving and staying on the track after a minor mistake rather than destroying the car and not finishing. If you think braking is just to prevent crashes then you're doing it wrong. It's as dumb as thinking you can shift better than an automatic.
