Only Mooney would arm a demo block, the largest explosive in Hitman 3, then say 2 seconds later "how do I do this subtly?"

That scene with the dude going "Am I in danger?" and then immediately drowning had me absolutely dying from laughter, that was great 😂

If they fall into the water (including if they fall in deep water and are hidden), it counts as a falling accident. If they're knocked out and then taken or fall into the water it counts as drowning. Yeah it's weird.

The reason that doesn't count as a "drowning accident" is that the game considers that type of kill a "falling accident."

This is an interesting contract, and I think it actually utilises the unique items you can only find on Ambrose. Just to throw out some info you might find relevant to this one: 1. You can trade a lethal poisonous frog to the NPC you were supposed to drown, and he'll process it into a special kind of emetic grenade for you, that will explode into a cloud of emetic gas at the moment of impact (as opposed to the emetic grenade in the loadout menu, that only explodes a couple of seconds after it hits the ground). 2. You can find durians at various points around Ambrose (1 in the storeroom of the bar, and at least 2 bunches of durians that can be shot down and picked up; one of those durian bunches is actually right on top of the guy you give the poisonous frog to, and because of where he's standing, it'll actually poison him when you shoot it down). Durians function exactly the same way as the emetic grenade the NPC gives you: emetic gas on impact when thrown, and can also KO an NPC, but will break upon use so that's a waste of a really great item. 3. There's an explosive-crafting workbench in Akka's compound that 47 can use when dressed as a metalworker. He can turn 1 fuse cell and 1 bag of gunpowder into an improvised remote explosive. I think there should be enough ingredients on the map for at least 2. 4. You can pick up a molotov cocktail somewhere in Noel's part of the island that also counts as an explosive device. It's a bit of legwork, but all this does mean that you're not just limited to what you can bring in your loadout when trying to move the NPCs around for this contract, which is a nice way to use this particular map's resources.

Really like your idea on that! I tried it a few days ago and it was a pure mess, but my strategy (8-9 minutes, SA) worked as follows: Start: cook in militia camp Items: silenced pistol, remote rubber duck, breaching charge, seeker in briefcase (optional). 1. Run to the West edge of the camp (stairs into the cave) and shoot one of the guards (the one looking with binoculars) in the body, making him panic, so you climb to the upper level of camp and mess with satellite control system while panicked guards don't notice you. 2. Grab a crowbar in the camp and run towards the ruin past the guards to grab the briefcase you brought in. 3. Go through the ruins and wait for the partolling guard (jungles close to the bridge) to go away. 4. Use pistol to shoot the camera on your way + 2 extra shots to make guards panic. Run past those guards to the bridge. 5. Drop pistol/seeker in the ground on the other side of the bridge and toss the crowbar/suitcase so that the chemist guy goes to investigate. 6. Run to the bridge and loosen the planks. 7. Chemist sees the pistol and goes to the bridge guard to report. If the guard is on his routine where he stands and looks at the bridge, bump into him a few times. Chemist will go on the correct bridge side and will fall into the pit, leading to drowning(?!) kill. One down, three to go. 8. Remember step one and how satellite was messed up? Well, Chres and his guards now ran there to check and will be on the way to the BRIDGE OF DOOM. 9. At 4:00 or so (Chres is not far away from the bridge), drop the seeker and briefcase, so that two guards in the area pick them up and go away. 10. Wait close to the open hole in the bridge and wait for targets to arrive. As soon as Chres picks his binocular, drop some coins (are on the shrine close to chemist) and make a few steps away so that Chres guards go in closer to check those out. 11. Now drop explosive duck as guards are clumped, run a bit away and detonate it. Some bodies will fly into water -> hidden. If some remain on the bridge, grab them ASAP and dump them from the bridge. 12. Mission complete, 47. Head towards an exit and we can speek again soon. Problems: a) Panicking guards at start might trigger some in the ruins, so one can get instantly detected. Happens early on, so reset is fast. b) Guard on the bridge might stay incorrectly, leading to checmist not falling into the water. Should that happen, make sure chemist reports the gun and then toss something onto the loosen planks. Investigating chemist will fall. c) Using powerful explosives (demoblock) can lead to bodies flying onto the beach under you, resulting into game not registering them as "hidden". An unfortunate restart is needed. d) If you are slow in getting rid of the bodies, the slightly far away guard who heard the explosion might see you dumping them, leading to ruined SA. Restart in this case too. Total time of 8-9 minutes, but I was still satisfied. Hope you have fun, since I did have some while trying to figure my way through that puzzle.:)

I saw the "intended" route by the guy that made it on the hitman subreddit, and it was really dumb. Start by sabotaging the sattelite, forcing Crest and his guards over there, and more importantly over the hanging bridge on the way back, and until they reach the bridge, you lure the chemist there and sabotage the planks. If someone falls *through* the bridge its drowning for some reason. Thrown over the edge into the water is falling. And at the end, once Crest and his guards reach the bridge, you blow them up there and the explosion throws them into the sea to hide their bodies

I might have unlocked the secret of the drowning accident: when you shot or threw apples at the dude to make him fall in the water, it said "melee kill". Instead, when you meleed the dude on the pier and threw him in the water, it said "accident kill". Some good programming, there

The 3 guys you should probably only poison the main guy, the guards will follow anyway and should end up close enough to blow up and dump into the ocean

Noel Crest is the first target enforcer in the Hitman franchise. He’ll investigate and pick up various dangerous things dropped by 47.

I did this by blowing the guys up on the bridge (sabotage the satellite to get them to go over there), but it's tricky as they have to land in the water (not the beach down below cause that doesn't count as hiding the bodies), get the guard patrolling the bridge sick first too to get him out of there far enough so you can have enough time to throw a body over the ledge if it happens to stay on the bridge. For the drowning you should let the guy find your briefcase and then get him sick (you can shoot him with a sieker or something during his walk, he won't get sick until he drops off the briefcase). Gotta make sure the guard patrolling the bridge is far enough away, so he'll walk to the other bridge at the pirate camp, there's a toilet there. It's a tricky contract alright. Took me a lot of tries.

the only way to get a drowning kill is to get him to a toilet near by, if they fall on the water it count as a falling accident, and also if you want for coins tricks, you can place it instead of dropping it, hope it helped you Mooney !

There are other explosive devices on the map, those can be used, too, perhaps also the way you did it by poisoning them at the pier.

Knocking someone down in the water SHOULD still count as drowning. I was doing a challenge cleanup run yesterday across all maps to finish off some that I hadn’t yet completed, and I got Hold My Hair by Steven down in the water on Haven Island. Maybe it’s broken on Ambrose.

I think if you make the main target sick alone, all three go to the end of the pier. As for the guy drowning, I suggest punching him while in the water. He is not knocked out and when he goes below the surface he will die, instantly. When you poisoned more than one of the trio, that is what messed it up. BTW It's Taco Tuesday...

You could probably explode Noel and his two guards into the ocean if you just make Noel sick and have him go off to the pier. As for the other guy, I’m not sure how you can have him accidentally drown

You can get one of the poison frogs and give it to him, he'll give you an emetic gas grenade, then use it on him.

I think exposive breaching charge is a way to do "silent" explosive kills , so knock them down close to some boxes where you can hide them , then put them in a pile close to each other ant put breaching charge in between them , i think thats the way to do it "silent" explosion way.

Poison the targets food and he'll go to the dock with his bodyguards to throw up. Then Boom!

I think you had to keep throwing coins until the ledge where you dump him so you could kick him off

What if you poison the hippie so that he goes to the nearest vomiting location, and then poison Gregory? He'll go to the next closest vomiting location. Maybe that'll be a toilet.

Does hiding bodies in bushes count as “hidden” in Hitman 3? I assumed the way to get the three explosion kills was to complete the slapping mission story and have the targets explode from the oil barrels in the little shack. With the grass across the street, I figured either the blast or some dragging could hide the bodies.

Brilliant video :) my ideas for the drowning guy. (based on assumptions i haven't actually played the map just what i have seen through videos) 1. Sinks also count as drowning accidents i think so if there are sinks that could work but they are usually near toilets. 2. if they tripped up then fell eg if there was a device that released marbles and you activated it in water but are there devices like that in hitman?

Falling into water counts as a 'falling accident'.

I wish all player-made contracts could be done silently, but there are some that are impossible to do while still achieving the Silent Assassin rating. To me, those are just badly thought out contracts and how they get 'featured' amazes me. I've done all featured contracts, and the ones that can't be done silently, I just kill them the easiest way, ignore the star rating and move on.

i think the shooting their leg and them dying in the water counts as a falling accident. The reason they die in water is because it counts as a kill zone, which is why you can push people off the peir and kill them
