Not, that it needs that. The crosssection book states, that each of the 12 Quad-Turbolaser Turrets can fire shots with the energy equivalent to 200 Gigatons of TNT.

I had no idea this ship was so fast and had such a great range. I can see why it was so widely used. Logistically this is an amazingly critical vessel for rushing troops and supplies to locations that were knew combat zones as the confederacy invaded new territory.

Depends on the mod. But usually I send in half my fleet near the end of the Map and wait for the enemy to send a few ships. Then after I destroy those I move then into battle. And once they are being shit at I ambush from behind.

I'm pretty sure you could take out like eight SPHA modify them to attach onto the Acclamator's hull as additional weapons that wouldn't even need to be tied int the reactor. That should give you some space for a 35 or so V wings, Aureks, A wings or even more Vulture Droids and whatever other small fighters you can fit.

The “Nevoota Bee” was an Acclamator Class assault ship equipped modified to cary 156 V-19 torrent fighters. It also retained some of the LAAT gunships to take part in the ground assault that it was covering. If you want to see it in action, watch episode two of the 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars.

This ship can be accurately summed up as what you land when you need all the troops. This is a super practical and cost-effective ship. Sure, it's not great at anything, but it's multi-purpose, easily modifiable, and has an insane amount of cargo space. The fact it had a ridiculous amount of firepower for its size and troop capacity made it ideal for orbital support. Honestly, it's just a really well-rounded design that the Empire should have tried to copy or upgrade instead of going with the Star Destroyers.

I watch these videos over and over and always come back to one fact, this is the most balanced best ship design in Star wars period. If the design is introduced during any age and equipped with that era's best or average tech (without any downgrades) you get one of the best ship of any era.

That LAAT racks look like they could be retrofitted to hold TIE fighters, LAAT is 28.8 meters long TIE fighter is 7.2. This means, that one Acclamator could hold 320 TIE fighters, while still being able to outrun almost any rebel ship (including fighters) in hyperspace. This thing is OP as hell.

Awesome Video MetaNerdz , the first time I saw the Acclamator in empire at war , I loved it , the ship was so versatile and had a great design , it an the Tartan Patrol Cruiser are a great combination , I think Thrawn prefers an Acclamator rather than an Imperial Star Destroyer , because it is so versatile , if I had my own Acclamator, I would have one built as large as a battlecruiser ,with Tartan Patrol Cruiser as Garrison and Acclamator twos as escorts with tie punisher as bombers

They are pretty well armed and armored. Early in the Clone Wars, the RAS Prosecutor and the RAS Arrestor beat a Lucrehulk in a gunnery battle, with the prosecutor already having suffered major damage to her hull and only having at around eight people alive on her, four of which were manning the whole ship while fighting off a droid assault. She had a severely damaged hull, no shields, a diminished armament, no maneuvering and no damage control. both Acclamators survived and the Prosecutor returned to service and the Arrestor was confirmed to have continued service with the Imperial Navy.

This ship is so fast! I feel like if the republic made a ship that has the speed and capability of caring 16000 troops, with the venator’s hangar and capability of deploying fighters fast, that ship would be the alitement ship that the republic or even the empire would ever see.

The Tharkin Doctrine. Rule through fear. Actual combat capacity was compromised in exchange for terror weapons. Hence the poorly trained stormtroopers, the gigantic Imperial class Star Destroyers, the Death Star, mass bombing campaigns, hordes of TIE/LN fighters.

They didn't stop using them, per say. They stopped using the Acclamator II and went back to the first one, so they could transport thousands of troops easily

Acclamator was so fast because his hyperengine was basically of size of most of his fin. It can have almost 150m of just hyperspace engine.

Would be a perfect ship for raiding behind the enemy lines as nothing would be able to catch it. As for the Empire era could be retrofitted into quick response ships, that if strategically placed, could arrive anywhere in a moment's notice. Possible upgrades: retrofit LAAT racks to hold TIE fighters (four TIE (7m length) fighters instead of each LAAT (28m)) up to 320 TIE fighters, replace turbolasers, reactors and shields with newer, more advanced ones, add ion cannons and tracktor beams for law enforcement missions and advanced tracking equipment for tracking enemy hyperspace jumps. In this configuration Acclamators would be perfect to fight terrorist (aka the rebel scum) hit and run tactics by being able to quickly arrive to help imperial forces under attack, then pursue rebel fighters, outrun them in hyperspace (X-Wing T-65 has class 1 hyperdrive) and then wait near the jump exit point with full fighter complement deployed. In case of running into enemy heavy vessels, they would be able to escape or hold until reinforcement (ISDs) arrive. Basically the best possible peace keeping/police ship for the Empireal navy.

i would like a Venator and acclimator hybrid, the combined weapon's of both ship's (on the top and bottom), with that cargo capacity, low crew, compliment with a large troop carry, and i have my dream ship, so long as the bridge is not exposed like the other one's

This is my favourite of all the ships in Star Wars of all the Star Cruiser/Destroyer class, it's practically flawless and has everything you need in a war: A more than decent amount of weaponry (because who doesn't love the damage that proton torpedoes do on Empire At War?? :P), massive transport capabilities, fast, with a superb range and highly maneuverable. I don't think there's a more well-rounded ship than this on Star Wars. Yes, people will talk about ISDs 1 and 2, but look at the numbers you need to crew the ISDs, the maintenance and the transport capabilities, compared to the Acclamator.
