Your local car wash or an internationally recognised tech firm. The car wash may seem boring, but there's a good chance it's actually driving more profits than the tech firm.
But why is this the case? And how do these innovative tech giants stay afloat for so long without even making a single dollar of profit? Will it always stay this way?

You can also be a hybrid as well, with a combination of both the good practices and principles of traditional businesses and startups.

Innovation/start ups has been dead the past 10 or so years. The era of 2006 - 2014 was great. Did anyone realize that after 2014ish there was a stop in new companies, and all the ones that boomed, bought everyone out? Facebook, Instagram, Tinder, Uber, Spotify, X all household names. Has their been any other bigger household names after 2014? Minus an overseas business like Tik-Tok? Maybe Tesla but that is about it.

these companies are becoming the IBMs and Microsofts of today. There's still room for new successes but they won't be doing what the big companies are focusing on (e.g. AI in it's current form is overrated and ubiquitous; it won't be where the next unicorns come from, nor will crypto, the ideas will have to be somewhere else)
