Hi MC! So I'm hoping to come to Canada next year and take up an Accounting Diploma. My only fear is that by the time I graduate will the demand for accountants reduce and would it affect in obtaining PR. Do you think it'll be an issue?

I don't think accounting will not be ever in-demand, as mentioned in the video, there is specific demand for this profession, and also every company will always need a book keeper and accountant regardless if you are a small business or big. :) So if you like accounting go for it, but if you need further information from Glaire or Sara, you can book a mentorship with her so you get the first hand insight from people ahead of you! :)

It is stated in the video that to obtain CPA, students are not required to take the CFE. If I choose the Practical Experience Requirements route to be a CPA, do I still have to enroll the 14 CPA preparatory courses even if I am an Accountancy graduate na in the PH? Is the accountancy program for undergraduates different from the 14 CPA Preparatory Courses? Or the courses I took in Accountancy during my undergrad studies would be considered CPA Preparatory Courses na?
