In the UK you would replace the tension lock couplers (which are terrible in their design) with the Kadee NEM #18 couplers anyway! In that way you could also pull some of the US cars with the UK loco even though they're of a different scale. The OO loco really should be on track that is slightly wider than the HO track but for mysterious reason they're made them to be of the same gauge.

13:55 I actually discvoered that myself when I got some old Tri-Ang wagons and didn't have a British loco to pull them yet. This particular 37 was a fitting choice to go with the nuclear waste cars.

Always use PVC white glue for the nameplates, because if you put too much glue on, you can rub it off. Superglue will ruin the paint if too much is applied and won't rub off.

You should definitely get some nicer couplers for the NEM boxes. There are Kadees for NEM if you want to pull your American models but also better looking and better functioning european couplers.

This reminds me of loram for people who dont know loram is a train that grinds the rails for some reason and then other trains could ride smoothly depending on speed or winds cause it has suspension or rail cause metal is hard and loram does the job !!

So you know how you have that CSX coal hopper rail number 141948 from bachmann, I have that same one as you but I tried to make it look weathered but it looks horrible but still happy. Good to meet you @craftyfoxe
