About the The Razor's Edge:
AC/DC cracked the seal on the '90s with one of the best riffs of their career. That would be "Thunderstruck," the opening track on The Razors Edge. In addition to "Thunderstruck," the band brought out "Moneytalks," probably the closest they ever came to writing a pop song. Then there was "Are You Ready" - one of their fiercest calls to action. The gritty edge and booming chants on this album were a welcome reminder for a new generation that pure, unadulterated rock 'n' roll was alive and well.

Does anybody else wake up with a song in their head? For me today, it was Thunderstruck. It's bittersweet watching the band now with Malcom and Bonn gone and Brian's health problems with his voice. There will NEVER be another band like this. Rock people, rap people, country people, classical people, pop people, reggae people, salsa people, soul people, blues people, jazz people, new age people, bluegrass people, Celtic people, and probably even opera people, we've all done a bit of head banging because of this band. Hell, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders use this song for their entrance for football games. The AC⚡️ DC guys are absolutely legends. Over 50 years of music is their legacy.

I am an 80 year old woman, and when I mentioned that my granddaughter played cello, I assured her that she knew Pablo Casals and Yoyo Ma as well as the two cellists playing Thunderstruck she had no idea what that was or who AC/DC were. I told her son who thinks it is funny that I attend Disturbed concerts, that he needs to drag her out of the 50s into the present. Our mother who was a wonderful pianist, not only played classical music, jazz and boogie woogie but also had her own Chuck Berry and Bo Diddley albums when she was in her 50s

This song is the reason why my favorite genres of music are hard rock and heavy metal. I first heard this song when i was around 4 years old, Now I'm a teenager that's obsessed with all types of these music. I know that I'm a 50 year old dad inside a teen's body, (because of my music taste) but I'm not ashamed of that. Without AC/DC and this song, I wouldn't be me. Every hockey game I played, we played 3 songs. THUNDERSTRUCK, BACK IN BLACK, AND HELLS BELLS 🔔. Every big high school brawl someone played AC/DC, METALLICA, OR GUNS AND ROSES. You see, back in the day we threw fists. When two guys were done scrapping, next two went. Was never 2vs1 or 5vs1. We used to fight our own buddies if someone jumped in a fight. Now a days, ppl pull a weapon, come in groups or call the cops. For what? Because some guy wants your gf, or over chump change ($).
