Footage from a merchant vessel on the 20 FEB 2016 during Gracemeria's counter attack on the P1112 Aigaion. The merchant Ship was sunk after the downing of the Aigaion. Crew was rescued by Gracemeria's recovery vessels, sent out to pickup downed pilots.

This is probably my favorite one yet! I loved the framing, like this was a regular crew member of a ship just filming some whales breaching and they just happened to get the destruction of another whale on camera! I loved the scene of the crews in the life boats after too, it felt good to know they were safe.

How'd the ship sink? Did Aigaion's dismembered wing bisect it?

My best guess is that when Aigaion crashed, she spawned a massive wave. When the ship crested the wave, her keel couldn't take the strain and snapped. Given that the freighter looks like she would be an iron boat and her deck being close to the water, I bet she was fully loaded at the time.
