I like when bandog says to just focus on the tankers and let my squad deal with the drones. I’m 6-7 deep in drones, with constant missile warnings and my squad is just taking in the view.

For me, this mission took almost a week and about fifty tries. Completion feels so good. I could not have done it without the FA-18's LASM's and GPS Targeting. The A10 is too slow for me. Not bad for a 71 year old man.

This game is writing checks my gaming skills can’t cash. I finally beat this mission after who knows how many tries -_- Dark Souls didn’t prepare me for air warfare. I used the F-14D Super TomCat and flew around 1500mph the entire time taking out the tankers. I completely ignored the UAV’s and other aerial bogies. I deployed my flares when necessary, and just relied on my boosted aircraft to outrun incoming missiles. The missions keep getting more difficult and quite honestly more ridiculous. I suppose that’s what makes it fun though. We’ll see how mission 09 goes.

F**k This mission off to the moon. Radio orders you to attack tankers, but HUD insists you chase drones, even if you can see a convoy of tankers in plain sight.

So many things wrong with this mission. Let's fly a 38 million dollar aircraft through a dust storm. Radar suddenly doesn't work with dust? What?

The most tankers I've gotten is 18. 5 tries... Unreal.

Tip number 1: Get the SU-34 Tip number 2: That's it, now no ground assault mission will ever be a problem again

I just bought this and quickly realised every mission has a time limit? What the fuck! It takes all the enjoyment out of it

I passed the mission with seconds to spare and it said mission accomplished then I accidentally flew across the erusian line cause the storm messing up controls and it auto failed me and I have to redo it

I was stuck in this too.... always got lost in the sandstorm with missing 3 pipes... , I was using GPB and all my lv1 parts with my Mirage then I realize some of the drones circle the pipes... I flew there and voilá... mission acomplished. IDK if this was lucky or there is a patron in the drones's behavior.

FAEB (Fuel air explosive bomb) seems to be best. Best early on to hit targets as quickly as possible. Go after a jet occassionally, as they're 500 to 550 points. Tankers are also 500.

I'm lost in the dust storms. I'm flying the Heavy F14D.

Anyone still stuck on this I used MSL & LACM. I went after the first 3 then toom out all the tankers on the right. 1 one them is inside a valley so a long range missle might miss. Once I got the drones to spawn i took out 3 of them pretty fast if you cant then head towards the the middle left of the map and take out the trucks there, 1 of them is at the edge of the out of bounds area by a SAM sight then I headed towards the left and took out the rest. I finished with 57 seconds left and in total i took out probably 5-6 drones. I still had to evade their missles the whole time but after watching this video and doing what I said I beat this my first try

I got 19 until the last one was invisible and didn’t appear on the map and I had 30 seconds that the most I ever done took me 6 tries

I passed this mission only after i had a couple of beers. Makes the frustration melt away lol

Mann this took me a few tries, I took out the last few clusters of trucks on 99% damage rolly and turning like a mad man, constant missile locks , all while my squad is half way across the map chilling

I just did it in easy mode using A-10 with the 4AGM and the parts. Was able to destroy all 20 trucks but had to ignore the drones to do it, was o my able to kill 2 drones

This mission almost made me uninstall haha! I used FB22 with XSDB and large radar on the truck part. That radar thing made it so much easier to find the trucks

i got to the part were u cant see because of the sand clouds that is way to much i am to slow for this mission but i still want to play the game but they need to remove the time

Are you blind firing or is it possible to change the choice of lock-on target?

If you didn't get the ADF-01 FALKEN then this mission can be a problem. Or at the very least use one of the other planes that has the FAEB then they can be a nice alternative to the FALKEN

Managed to do this on expert mode with F 18 ground lock on bomb as special eapon

It's one of the most annoying tasks ... I've been trying my luck for the 10th time already and I can't complete this fucking mission

i try to help the other characters they r getting shot at and i am to so how do u do it i dont like to let them get shot if the game is telling me to forgot the other characters then no i play like a superhero and i will not just let them die no way

Done it with 1.9 secs to spare. I just slow the plane down as much as possible. Then 1 missile per trunk. Hang in there!

That aircraft is carries only 70 MSLs?

I finished this mission with the authors suggestion of using the large map. Now I'm stuck on stonehenge. Use bombs? First parts a breeze arsenal bird is a nightmare. Even with increased damage missiles each prop takes 4 slow a$$ shots. So I try loading the 6 AA missiles and then run out of regular missiles in part one even machine gunning down most bombers..... Am I going to have to grind to beat the campaign? Lol

This is seriously some bullshit. I should’ve finished this level a long a time ago, but my controllers for some stupid reason when I’m flying, the plane goes down randomly and I can’t control it, I move the analog sticks every where and try to make it go up, but it won’t let me. It goes straight down and crashes. It’s like it locks when it randomly goes down and I can’t do anything to go up. This is some straight bullshit.

one year later and i am still on mission 8 because of the dumb time they should take the time out i dont do time missions like the game says your to slow yes i am do u have a problem with slow people r u making fun of us game please take this time mess out

These air to surface missions are absolutely shit with bullshit time limits.

Your middle Dodge mounevers are shit you should do barrel rolls when it's at the back I mean high g barrel rolls the middle will go in a spiral and miss high g turns like that are not full proof you need to twist and turn like twizzlers and a paper clip combined although my tip is to use expert controls that makes the game 10x easier becouse there are more ways you can fly your not so restricted in expert flying controls so use those
