I always found it funny during the 444 mission when they roll out all the aircrafts for a scramble you see a bunch of 3rd maybe 4th gen fighters, then you have Trigger with the high tech super fighter just there at the penal unit.

I think if i read the markings on his plane right he still flies with the markings of mage So it might be that triggers plane got transported together with hkm to the penal base

the plsl is fun, despite the darkstar turning like a dodge ram 3500 with wings it's nice sniping planes out of the sky with double the firepower you'd usually get with a plsl

The Ace Combat series has a hallmark of mission types, I am definitely not a fan pf the under-the-radar & canyon types... The tunnel type I can get by 'cause I get to see interesting designs of the structures.

It was a poor decision for them to release this so late, with only a weeks notice of official trailer time and make it 8 bucks more than normal for 2 original planes and 2 balance patches for existing ones.

I disagree. I feel this pack is worth it, especially since I am a hoe for the F-14A. Adding 6 aircraft ain't that bad for $20 in my eyes, even if 2 of them are modified versions of the ones they added.

Perhaps they should went MS Flight Simulator way. The Top Gun DLC is free there.

Yeah this jet was not designed for 1st person combat, its meant to be a spy plane like the SR-71

Its funny because they added windows and raised the pilots eye level. It should only have the two side windows and the pilot flies with his instruments. In MSFS you get a screen with synthetic vision for your forward visibility. Its kinda cozy.

The proposed real life project this plane is apparently based on is unmanned. However, there's likely to be a manned prototype for flight testing. Meaning this plane isn't design for you to pilot. That said, it would be nice for them to add a system similar to the Falken where you have cameras allowing for at least a full frontal view. Then they could remove the windows entirely (which would prevent this plane from achieving it's hypersonic speeds anyways).

The plane itself in real life is just a concept, and if there is actually any plans to develop it, they're years away, but it exists in the movie and this game

They are allowed, and it is pure cancer. When you think F-22 with QAAMs or ADFX with UAVs are cancer enough, Darkstar just triumph them all well at least in the hand of a pilot with a brain. Nothing could outpace Darkstar. Chasing him around is useless. Then he hit you back with PLSL or/and SASM.

F-117 is in the game. Just not flyable, and given how.....useless Attackers already are, its...not that missed in my eyes. F-5 and Harrier, I feel both of them would be...rather pointless. Especially the Harrier as there is no VTOL. In my eyes, this game is a proper step forward for the series, and the DLC is more steps. In my eyes at least.

@@LegitPokemonh8r I've never played Ace before, but I've always been intrigued by jets. Only fighter plane I've played was Call Of Duty Infinite Warfare. Ace Pilot looks even better.
