aye. no other ace combat ever matched this feeling that zero could give you. Of being someone the enemy force recognized and merrited the elite to come and fight. i admit, the canyon battle with offnir in 5 is a favorite as well.

I re played the campaign 4 times only using the f15

First time I played I spent money on multiple planes and weapons, didn't really have a lot of money to buy top tier. "Why not, let's use the F-15C. Just as canon!" Great deal. Pixy really becomes the right amount of difficult. No pushover, no rage-inducing nightmare. Just great. Now, defeating Gelb with a F-1...

Espada was the worst, because they were Sapin mercenaries involved in a war that nothing had to do with them. And when you find out they were actually a couple... oh man...

I think there has been better ace combats but the story line and ranking system are still unheard of in the ace combat series to this day..yet hearing in the game that one of the espada squadron members knowing he wont return to base made me kinda put down the game for a couple days

Pops is indeed Huckebein in the mission Mayhem. The Mercenary line in AC0 is cannon so Rot, Schwarze, Sorcerer would be cannon squads. Schwarze is well known for hunting down defectors before they escape hence why he is mentioned in the intro.

In the game i remember there was some co-op bonus missions in the game for split screen. Me and my brothers played it a lot and later on I found that we were basically going against every ace squadrons in a wave system. I think the farthest we got was to schnee squadron

@@alfariziislam3796 Gault or Wizard, probably a bit more on wizard since those damn YF-23s stay glue'd to your ass! Coming from someone who can beat the gauntlet in around 3 minutes with the F-15C and 2:40+ with the X-02 (I gotta look back at my ps2 for the actual times. TLS is just a delete button so I don't bother with it. But yea, Wizards YF-23s are the only things I can't really shake off of my tail. Hell Mobius 1 is much easier to deal with. Gault on the other hand can stay glue'd to you but tend to try something different to shake things up.

@@Viviana088 i haven't touched the game for a long time and i only remember having a tough time playing against Gault which is why my judgement is based on that subjective experience.
