he was right, a world with no boundaries would have brought peace, and it would be the opportunity to continue this storyline, why? because with borders falling for this man's ideal would have given birth to a new war, and a new ace role for us to play xD

the one thing that would have made ac5 the greatest game ever was if at the final battle, all the remaining aces cipher fought joined with rasgriz. it would have made this game a whole lot more interesting; fighting pilots that helped you in the previous game.

I believe that, considering that mayhem implies that AWWNB was in the works for a long time, he knew exactly what would've come whether or not they succeeded with V2, (Ulysees, more war, etc). He was probably fine with it too, judging by his tone. Most of AWWNB were hurt, few were noble. But Joshua was a crazy pyschopath. I could imagine him laughing off-camera

Yes, but if you look at the overall history of ace combat ( not just the games, but i mena the timespan within) It would not make sense, and also, some of the pilots would have to have retired etc. You still fly with pops/Bartlett and Hamiltion who all fought in the war.
