I have been following Ace for 50 years….1974 = Fucking Awesome, 2024 = Yikes. Ace was superb from 1974 thru 1978 and I loved him on the 1996 reunion tour….he was on it. At this point I think time is winning - that’s just how it goes for all of us.

This best Solo live Ace was back in 95 - Bad Boys tour with Peter , pre Kiss Reunion. Better back up band and obviously younger and even though he was probably fucked up for a lot of shows he still was great. Now it's kinda cringe worth. I love how Genes back up band has dwindled down to 2 lol

The new album totally flashed me and I was keen to see him live again. I now realise that it really pains me to see him like this. Which manager encouraged him to go on stage again? I think he should leave it at the album, with his history he should leave it at over 70. The 3 guys from the band really have work to do with him I think. Ace you are and will remain our hero.

@@JokersWild70 He should stick to the studio recordings. I don't think the rest of the fans, and I count myself among them, want to see him like this. The press will beat him up. He's a sick old man who is marked by alcohol. I'm not even sure if he's that drunk or if it's neurological damage over the years. He can't keep time, nor can he finish his lyrics. Take a look at the motor skills of his right hand. There's not much left on the guitar. It just hurts a lot. I hoped that he was at least off alcohol. But I'm afraid not and that might kill him now. There are enough examples in rock history. 😢

@tn_tv3703 I absolutely agree. No one wants to see their heroes falling off the mountain like this. It doesn't matter if it's a sports star, rock n roller, actor, etc. But like I said, Ace needs money, including the money from $50 t-shirts, backstage laminates, and his fee for playing. He's just not a rich man. He has terrible spending habits. I see his personal guitars for sale on Reverb on a somewhat regular basis, and it's sad

He has a new record and plays 1 song of his self proclaimed best record ? Ace was an influence this is we'll sad. I get age takes its toll im old but playing kiss songs is not difficult. I believe his hearing is worse than he admits. Hes out of tune and time. The guitar solo is noise. Rock n roll all night is a train wreck. . He played a few leads and put his name on steves album thats obvious. Sorry ace nice try at reinventing yourself. you couldn't possibly watch this without being embarrassed if it was about the music and fans.
