Ace is a normal guy who plays guitar. I met him back in the 80’s and he was always cool to talk to, no ego, just a genuine guy! Haven’t bumped into him in 40 years but I’m glad to see he’s doing well and still enjoying his music! Best wishes for the Space Ace!

I was born in 77, and I’ve been an Ace Frehley and Kiss fan since the day I could walk on my own. In my opinion, Ace is the most talented musician of the original lineup. If you look at it from a Musician’s standpoint, no members of Kiss, from past to present have had the success and accolades that he has. If you don’t believe that then I don’t know what to tell you! He is a true musician to the core!

Ace would have a hard time agreeing with you on that. Gene and Paul are both very talented musicians. Ace sees himself as an Average, guitar player with a few original chops. It's funny how one of the greatest guitar players of all time can remain so humble, but that's one of the biggest reasons I love him. The name "Ace" fits him perfectly, because his solo's fit the songs perfectly. His unique style has always set him apart from the ones who tried following him. "Vincent" St John" and "Kulick" may have all had more technics but all of them were lacking that special something that sets them apart. Kulick was most likely the best to follow Ace though. "Tommy Thayer" reminds me of a "Kiss" tribute band" lead guitar player. He can play other people's solo's but his original solo's aren't very good. I once thought Ace lost his special something on the "Psycho Circus" album, but later found out that "Tommy Square" played a lot on that album. Kiss should have left us with an original Kiss album, but for some reason Gene & Paul didn't want that. The last Kiss albums to me were "Kiss" "Dressed To Kill" and "Hotter Than Hell" That's because the dynamics of the band changed dramatically on the "Destroyer" album. "Love Gun" was the last true "Kiss" staple. But I love every album up to Dynasty. "Creatures Of The Night" had a few good tunes but I wasn't a fan of the entire album. And Ace wasn't on it.

⁠ I personally can’t comment on that because I’ve never seen him live. I did see kiss live a few years ago at the Resch Center in Green Bay but that was the current lineup.

I had the greatest pleasure meeting Ace, at a joint in Rockland County N.Y. Spring Valley to be exact, it was called Club Manhattans. Ace was a true gentleman, humble as could be, and funny as hell! God bless you Ace, and thanks for the memories!

I've seen you live twice as a solo artist in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and both concerts were bloody awesome first time I was standing right in front of you front row , and here was this bloke who was in my 50's in awe of this Legendary KISS guitarist who was now big as ever being a solo artist in your own right. I was meant to go to your third concert but I ended up in hospital so I missed out on again watching someone I grew up listening to from 1976, and has been listening to ever since. Thank you Ace Frehley for your great music (to me it is), through the good times of my life and specially through the bad times of my life, thank you for your music mate.🇦🇺
