they are rare to find online but if you want to know how the manga Versions are named look up Wikipedia or the strike witches wikia (just Google "strike witches wikia) but they are not much present online.

strike witches morphed into the world witches series, of which the strike witches are just 1 squadron (501st). There are 7 "official" Joint Fighter Wings, and many more as divisions of the Army, Navy and the Air Force of the respective counties. Also, not all witches are airborne witches, there are witches that utilise walkers rather than planes, they are known as Land Witches or Tank Witches, there are no separate divisions for them, they are usually just part of the army.

kutkuknight They're on a five-minute flight schedule (which is an actual thing for pilots). In the real world, five-minuters live in their flight suits. Same thing here. Its just easier to leave them off so whenever they need to get into the air to fight they can just hop right into their Strikers. There's also some indication of like, how the world is actually 15 degrees hotter than ours because the Neuro melted the ice caps and caused a global warming event, and another thing about how its become a STYLE (since most of the guys we see in the series are wearing shorts too).
