i bought both and kept the SFT40. i thought the osram beam and color was nicer, however the SFT40's brighter, larger hotspot and peripheral seemed more useful at the distance i would use it at.

Im wondering how what you got stacks up against the L21B with sft40, I forgot about the acebeam before purchasing, still awaiting, I hate waiting lol

If they're being driven with same drivers at same electrical current, SFT40 compared to PM1 is running more efficiently assuming you are using it as a illumination instrument.

I can imagine the scenario in an open field during a snowy winter with bare cold hands where pupil constrictive spill light and more throw (PM1) would subjectively be considered overall more efficient thermally and optically.

How do you feel about the l19 for self-defense? Does double the candela end up meaning double the blinding? It didn't seem like they would seem that different from each other in blindingness.

I remember trying to chose between L19 and Olight warrior turbo and ending buying the L17 for the much smaller head. I adore throwers but for my lifestyle they are useless. Even the K75!

I hear you mate, but I do not support grey markets bro. Not only do they put a strain on small businesses and retailers in our countries and states, but you sometimes get faulty stuff with no warranty. thanks for the comment though mate. Appreciate your input as always !!
