The ACEBEAM Pokelit 2AA is a nice light because you can use it with the included Lithium Ion battery, Ni-MHs, or 2 AA batteries. The issue is the decrease in performance if you drop down from the included Lithium Ion.
Here are the specs with the different batteries.
Powered by 1 x 14100 3.7V 1600mAh Acebeam customized Lithium-ion battery
Low: 20 lumens; 23hours
High: 600~360 lumens; 35 seconds + 1hour 44min
Powered by 2 x Ni-MH Batteries
Low: 0.5lumens; 13.5days
High: 300~100~50lumens; 35 seconds + 5hours 13min + 10min
Powered by 2 x Alkaline Batteries
Low: 0.5 lumens; 12days
High: 300~100~50 lumens; 35 seconds + 3hours 13min + 28min
The CRI of90 is amazing for work, but the runtime can suffer. I have found this light to work great on high for an hour and low for 10-plus hours. In a mechanics situation, high is not needed much, if at all during the normal work day. If you were to stay on high, the runtime is short.

This flashlight would have been so much better with a 360 lumen high, 120 lumen medium and 20 lumen low. As it is.. 600 lumens high and 20 lumens low, only 2 outputs is too far spread apart.

It's not the flicker it is the brand of led for cri. The flicker will have an effect when looking at fans belts, video recordings etc.

It have forward(tactical) or reverse click button? You get light before click or after?
