Hi Everyone, I ordered this TV from #flipkart and reviewed it but as I was using it found a problem with the home screen - it was blurred.
So this is my review of the Acer 100 cm (40 inch) Full HD LED Smart Android TV which according me is a good buy but these small issues have made a Bad Experience!

Please tell if it is connected with setup Box only and if we ON TV then directly the channels of setup Box will open or first we have to go in setting and choose everytime setupbox option

Wouldn't make a noticeable difference at all unless you're viewing from extreme angles. Panel is VA

At this price it is a value for money, but if you could put additional 4k, better go for with Mi. I have another Redmi TV, so comparing it with that this is average product. I felt the bleed light is more compared to my Redmi TV. Also the motherboard should be a generic board as it just detects as "Smart TV" through our PC, but my Redmi detects as Mi TV. Also the About TV shows generic names "R3G" compared to my Redmi, which displays the tv make name like Mi TV. My gut feeling is that the motherboard should be some generic board and not custom OEM board. The OS is on the better side as it gives Android 11 opposed to Android 10 on mi, but the OS lags a bit and I am not super happy about that fact. Fingers crossed about the life and service support. If I had been given a second chance I would better pick a branded TV like Mi paying an additional 4k.

Hi, the screen isn’t what it says and that’s what I meant. Pick up any other brand with similar specs and you’ll see the difference. This tv says it’s 1080p full hd but it behaves like a 720p hd ready. Anyway, this is my take on the tv. Do subscribe to the channel:)

Hi, I am not confused. What I am trying to say is that the tv is full HD 1080p but the tv is behaving like it’s HD ready 720p and it’s a shame. The display quality is so bad that the tv feels it is a 720p display! The Home Screen is legit blurred and unusable. Do subscribe to the channel:)

Bro i saw your video very late after ordering this acer 40 inch tv. I bought it by seeing udrawat youtuber review of this tv in which he said display was superb. But he was lying . You were frank about its display having pixelation for 1080 p display. Thank you for your frank reviews. Anyway I'll have to live with this tv . I was using mi tv 4x 43 inch 4k tv but it did not last even 3 years . But i can clearly see the difference. I'll never buy a tv below 4k display in the future .but I do believe acer is giving an inferior 1080 p display here.

I bought a 70-inch Acer in February 2022, and it was fine for around 15 months. Then, the screen began to blink every now and then for a couple of months. One day, however, the screen became unwatchable. It turned into a mess of lines. The Acer service center said the panel had failed, and a replacement would cost 60,000. No more Acer TVs for me.

I would go for Acer... Bcuz when you say toshiba you can't really name a product which it is famous for. Remember when you are going to buy things, check after sale services too. Acer also makes monitors so it makes them have more brand value than toshiba

@@veeraghai-mw5hk if you are buying 43inch better buy 4k, fhd not good. 40inch fhd will be good but imo 43inch 4k should be considered. As for other brand it's subbrand of TCL so it's up to you to decide. If your city/town/village has service centers go for it.

@@veeraghai-mw5hk See first identify your needs. Do you really need 4k or FHD will suffice for you? In india now no set top box provides 4k channels and there's hardly any content in 4k. So buying 4k is sensible only if: 1. Room/hall in which you are going to put TV is small or has smaller viewing distance.(less 6ft for 32inch and less 10ft for 55+inch) 2. You are going to use it for 4k gaming 3. If you got money to waste. Else FHD TV will be more than enough for 90% of us.

To answer your question, reliability will be better with Samsung, LG and Sony since they manufacture their own displays. While Croma and other players outsource their displays. Hope this helps. If you’re coming from a smaller tv. I would recommend it. If you’re switching from a 40inch or higher then go for the Acer 43inch 4K or 50inch 4K because those are much Superior. Hope this helps. Do subscribe to the channel:)

I BOUGHT A NEW ACER 32 TV INCH TV ON 25th November 2023 and it got installed by 1 st of December 2023 and on the 3 rd December 2023 my TV stopped working and by today i.e. 26th of December my TV isn't working and not technician has visited even there is no response form the customer care as well from reliance digital itself .. don't buy Acer TV worst service waste of money 12000 rupees gone in vain .

Same here, I have also issue with this, there is dots on tv panel, technician visited which not basic technical knowledge about tv, he says it's not dots, it's dust, customer care also not supporting well, I'm trying to claim from last year, don't recommend this plz. Hi Arvind, I think you haven’t seen the whole video. To be honest, the TV is 1080p but the image for a 1080p tv is also not that good. Other 1080p actually turn out to be better through my research. Be careful! Also, do subscribe to the channel, share the video with your friends as well:)

They said it is a 1080HD and the Home Screen blurred when you look at it. I compared it next to other 1080p HD TVs but those aren’t blurred. Otherwise all good :) Do subscribe to the channel:)

No buddy! That’s not the case. This tv is 1080p full HD. But it feels like a HD ready 720p is what I meant. The screen is very blurred!!

Buddy, No! Thats not the point. The 1080p on this TV feels like 720p because the content is not sharp enough. You can compare it with another 1080p TV to get an actual sense. Do Subscribe to the channel, like and share the video :)

this is a full HD 1080P video dude, not a HD ready.. and in a 1080 P tv you wont get 4K. silly..

So basically, the entire display is slightly blurred and I am not talking about the 1080p part. I even got my TV replaced but the problem persists! I shall be reviewing the acer 50” as well - stay tuned for that and Do Subscribe to the channel:)

@@A777KING yeah, it's been more than 45 days... Since I got this TV... As of now it's working fine.... Picture quality, sound quality is good taking the price into consideration.... I watched some HD contents and the experience was good.... I hope since the maker(acer) is already a big name in the display industry and IT peripherals industry , so this TV should at least stand for 3 years... One issue... Installation service was not up to the mark.... They took 5 days after the product got delivered to give me an installation call... Tough till that date I have already installed it by myself.... Got No issue with connectivity, it's seamless...

@@BunchofTech made a purchase in 11 October 2023, panel complaint made on 25 October 2023. Make a complaint on the same date. But not yet solved. I made a complaint in the consumer Court. Waiting for that.
