Also please do not comment anything negative, I know this video wasn't perfect the way you would think, I was still learning about it because I never had a gaming laptop before! I don't tolerate negativity on my channel and I sure don't tolerate drama neither! But if you have any questions about this laptop please comment them down and I'll do my best to answer as much as I can!

Hello everyone, thanks so much for all the support of this video! Apologies again that this video isn't as perfect as you expect it to be. The Acer Nitro 5 is still running very well, despite a couple of months ago, a mishap happened prior to waking the laptop up from sleep somehow the SSD was fouled and had 2 bad sectors. Fortunately, it had repaired them with no issues. I've also upgraded the HDD from 1 TB to a 2 TB. However, the 2 TB, despite it being the latest drive I've owned, has been having issues recently. Had to scan and repair the drive 3 different times. I'm not sure if it's a Windows glitch where if there are too many files in a folder that are grouped and sorted by date modified, it doesn't allow access, or the drive is on it's way out. Other than that, there are really no other issues to report.

Tip: Make sure you match the amount of ram on the back. If you have a single ram and it has 8 gb, and another that has 4 gb you want to add. If you put a 8 gb and 4 gb then it will have consequences. So just remember to match the ram memory.

If anyone ever asks how well does OBS (Open Brodcaster Software) work, well for whatever reason Display Capture doesn't work on this laptop for whatever reason! I'm not sure why exactly though that is the issue I've been noticing, also some programs may seem to be blurry but apparently that's unavoidable!

I setup my friend's acer nitro 5 over anydesk and I setup his obs and updated his drivers along with some other tweaks. Yesterday & just finished updating his drivers jn, make sure you make a display capture on obs and use automatic unless you watch more videos on obs setups.

Ok so just an update, Display Capture somehow started working! However OBS is not good to record with if you are gonna be playing games with a lot of movement!

@@georgitzu3150 Changed the processor to an amd ryzen 7 4800H, great laptop. Very fast and have no problem with screen colors when editing. The battery is the only flaw for me though. Its pretty bad.

There are 3 USB Ports! The one on the right is USB 2.0 the other 2 on the left are USB 3.0 but one of them is for charging use only!

an m.2 is a storage configuration that is like a like stick and nvidia is pronounced n-vidia and also usb cannot charge unless it a usb (like the samsung charger) and ssd is stands for solid state drive so it has no mechanical pieces unlike a hdd (hard disk drive) that does use mechanical parts and bezels are the width of the borders on the sides that hold the display to the back case of the display and one drive is a cloud backup storage option so if your ssd or hdd were to break your stuff is all safe so you dont have to buy external storage

CPU is Intel, GPU is Nivida, SSD 256 GB HDD is optional but HDD cable was included and I added a 1 TB HDD probably gonna upgrade to 2 TB soon! I don't think it has 144 HZ because it would've said it on the box otherwise! RAM is DDR4 8GB but is optional to have a 2nd RAM stick, I have spare RAM sticks but not the right size for it!

After I put a pin during the set up process the screen just turned white. Not the whole screen just the screen where the the process is going on. I can still see the options below because it was not affected by white and now I don’t know what to do can someone help me? I just recently buy this one I hope it’s still good

If you do upgrade the ram make sure the ram matches the frequency of whatever is in the ACER.. just because it fits doesn’t mean it’s the right type. Lol

When you install windows for the first time in a NEW laptop its not the same as a simple instalation of windows, because of the bios which need to be activated or some stuff like that

Acer Nitro 5 doesn't have Micro USB, it has USB or USB C! If the headphones have Bluetooth on them, the Acer Nitro 5 should have Bluetooth on it too!

I never played Witcher 3 but I have played GTA V on this laptop, yes it works just fine! As long as you open NitroSense, turn on CoolBoost & set the power plan to high performance then you should be good!

I had the original Elgato Game Capture HD but I had no idea they ended support to it and that I'd need a HD 60! Got right of the Elgato Game Capture HD and tbh I really don't blame them for ending support to that it was giving me trouble since day 1!

Yes it still works, honestly I'm not sure how long it was last! But as long as I'm taking good care of it then that's all it matters! The only issue I am having is display capture not working on Open Broadcaster Software (OBS) I might be something to do with it having a GPU but I'm not sure exactly!

motherboard cheap mean power problems battery is uncontrollable power overheated you need undervoltage to control temperature 🌡️ undervoltage mean low performance mean you dont use all logical power of laptop and maybe lose it like motherboard burning

@@Shadi.sraawe That’s a good point actually, I have an acer and it was very slow (bad laptop not made for gaming or anything) and so I turned up the performance which runs the battery way faster (in like 1 hour and half when doing medium loads of work or games) and the performance hasn’t been that great. You have a point, but what company do you recommend for a budget gaming laptop? MSI? Asus? I’m looking into buying one

A quick update, if y'all are wondering how well Fortnite works, my niece was playing it last night on my Acer Nitro 5! Despite lag spikes here and there, the graphics seems to work great! However I would recommend not playing Fortnite on battery I would keep the laptop plugged in! Also make sure you open NitroSense, turn on CoolBoost because it sometimes turns itself off whenever you turn the laptop on and also set the power plan to high performance!

Good choice. This laptop can offer you 60 fps in most modern games at medium settings, Such as Doom 2016 and others. Playing casual games or light games like TF2 or Roblox on max graphics, You'd be getting over 60 fps, better yet probably even more than 100 fps. Good luck!

@@michaelmai6514 The CPU is the intel core i5-10300h and the GPU is the Nvidia GTX 1660ti . These are the two components which I’ve been looking for in most laptops (the model of them not the actual component in it spelt because that’s in every gaming laptop) but can you recommend?

Random Access Memory, has nothing to do with storage related, you can still download stuff, however there's an adapter where you can add a HDD drive like I did!
