A compilation of a bunch of footage produced by various members in our guild, to the tune of an epic metal remix of the Ace Combat 7 OST by The Tiberian Sons. What more do you want? :-)
The Griffon Academy [Wing]
We are a family- friendly community that has a love for flying the griffon mount. We love to stunt fly across different maps and play little mini games with our feathered friends!
Our plan is to have many griffon events and gatherings, competitions, giveaways and more! The main goal of [Wing] is to have fun.
Our flyers usually like to group up around Queensdale, if you feel like joining random group ups, feel free to join our Queensdale squads!

The skill at controlling those Griffons never ceases to amaze me. I'll never have the timing and dexterity to achieve anything like that, but I certainly do enjoy watching them.

Pengu, that bridge in EoD is insane. You belonged in there. I feel kind of presumptuous to put clips of myself in there, but I needed to fill in a few gaps somehow. :p

At first I hated the Griffon 'cause I didn't know how to use it. Now it is my favorite mount! After watching this comp I see its true potential. Truly fearless riders!

Hi Akon, don’t let that discourage you. Recently since the steam release there has been a decent influx of new players, so hopefully you’re willing to give the game another go. The story is designed to be a solo experience as well, so do not take that as a sign for lack of players.

Play it like a solo game with surprise moments of player interactions in open world and maybe that feeling won't hit so hard

@@CalliKira i will try to play it like that, but tbh its quite hard for me, i love mmos and playing with friends, and when i play gw2 i just feel lonely hahahaa not having mates to discuss the story while we play it, or do the things with its quite discouraging, but i will give it a try!

And here I am still trying to pull off that little course over in Wayfarer Foothills with all the mini dives that's featured around 5:20. I feel woefully unskilled now. xD

Oh, don't worry. Half of the stunts in this video I can't do myself yet (those Verdant Brink caves from Willow at 5:50 are just pure murder). Just go at your own pace and every now and then try to do something that's slightly too difficult for you until you succeed. Once you do, find the next thing you can barely not do and repeat. (And take a break from time to time and do some comfortable flying in between so you don't burn out) Everyone started by crashing a bunch of times into the Queensdale bridges until we learned how not to crash most of the time. :-)

I've been chipping away at it over the course of the last month, whenever I had some time. It's basically content from various KZfaq channels and from the flying-routes channel in our Discord with some fresh recorded footage mixed in. I wish I could have included more footage from more people (like you, Yuzik en many other amazing flyers). But at some point I didn't have the energy anymore to keep approaching people for permission to reuse their footage. Originally I planned to put it up on my own channel. But I ended up with footage from 8 different people (excluding myself) and I felt the video should live here instead.

Are there any players in your guild that are playing with ~300 ping?

yes! Flying itself doesnt get affected by ping luckily, but switching between mounts can lag a bit if you have ping issues ( things like bunny trick will be more difficult)

@@EruElpidus No, not in my experience. I had 200+ ping for a few months due to an ISP error. All the flying stuff is client side. People around you might see you stutter and clip through stuff though.
