Dude I'm only at the first pause where you're doing the free throw thing and not only do I love this song n so much and it always puts me immediately in a good mood, I know I've mentioned this at least two or three times on other reactions but it was a long time ago and I have no idea how this made it to your reaction decision tonight but it's amazing. I'm so happy for you to hear this gem, and the fact that you just grabbed onto it so quickly, that is exactly the way I felt about it the first time I ever heard it on the radio in junior high school. I had to run to the piano and start figuring out that piano part and then I could play the bass guitar part with my left hand, and then attempt to sing over it, but man, there's no way I could ever sing like Mickey Thomas.

Mickey Thomas is the lead singer. Listen to find your way back. He also has a song under another band called Fooled around and fell in love . The band is called Elvin Bishop. It's off the chain good. If you like hearing different guitar sounds listen to Roller by April Wine...

I saw Starship live shortly after this album came out...and they performed this song just as clean and crisp live as on the album! Great band!

My fav. Singer Mickey Thomas. Please check out him in another band, Elvin Bishop’s fooled around and fell in love. Do the live version from the Midnight Special T.V. Show. No auto tune, pure talent.

Your face expressed what my 15 year old brain was thinking the first time I heard this in 1979. This is the song that put Jefferson Starship on my radar.
