Remtec, a FANUC Authorized System Integrator, has developed a rotary blister seal retail pack machine. This system integrates FANUC Line Tracking, iRPickTool, and iRVision2D Guidance for seamless operation.
Here's how it works:
Blister Machine Load Side:
Product tubes are deposited into a bulk hopper.
The vibratory and conveyor system arranges the tubes into a single layer on the pick conveyor.
The conveyor is then flooded to achieve 100% blister fill.
Two FANUC SCARA robots, equipped with custom tooling and iRPickPro, individually pick, group, and place tubes into face-seal blister packs.
Blister Machine Unload Side:
A custom pick-and-place unit removes products from the blister tooling.
The unit automatically adjusts the pitch to match retail tray loading.
Rows of packs are picked by the robot and placed into a tray collator, creating retail tray groupings.
Finally, the groups are dropped onto an indexing conveyor leading to the tray load and wrap station.
