Today we try out the Man Card challenge put out by Rick at Achilles Heel Tactical. You can find him on Instagram @achilles_tactics and www.achillesheeltactical.com
This is a "cold start" drill that can be ran from OWB or from concealment, and utilizes both a pistol and rifle. If you attend one of his classes and are able to complete the drill, you are awarded an actual metal "Man Card". Pretty neat.

This is a nice example of high port not being as fast as low ready. You weren’t addressing the issue but it shows in your times. Thank you for the drill.

Yeah, it just depends on what you train more. We rarely work on high ready rifle stuff, well, rifle stuff in general haha. We need to train more.

Good videos on red dot acquisition exist already from Modern Samurai Project (Scott Jedlinski) and from Sage Dynamics (Aaron Cowan). Between those two guys you won't find anything better, short of taking a class in-person from either. I've taken MSP's class and it's phenomenal.

Miles you failed because the start from compressed ready with finger out of the trigger guard. Your finger both times started inside the trigger.

I have the 507 ACSS and it was a seamless transition from irons to red dot. I immediately started shooting better with that dot. Love it.

It’s no different if you train with a level 2/3

@@Wetwork_ dafuq? Yes it does make a difference. Proper training will make you consistent and efficient but I guarantee they would not produce the same times with a level 3 holster, especially under stress.

Good content guys. One thing though, Miles. Keep your dam finger off the trigger bruh. None of the other dudes have this issue. Go back and watch the first two pistol drills especially. Finger resting on the trigger the whole time coming out of the holster. Dude is gonna shoot the ground or put a hole in his foot one of these days....
