This video is precious to me beyond words.
These four people , they are my world.
I cried like a girl while making this because grief was too much to handle.
In any case you dont know who they are;
-Achilles and Patroclus are life long friends and lovers. They hold a great importance in Greek history because of their roles in Trojan War.
Achilles is born from Goddess Thetis and King Peleus of Phthia. He is the greatest warrior world has ever seen but what makes him great for me is his undying love for Patroclus.
Patroclus was born as a Prince in Opus but after accidently murdering a boy , he was sent to Phthia. There he met Achilles and became his beloved friend. When Patroclus was killed by Hector in Troy , Achilles hunts Hector down and kills him to avenge his lover's death. Soon after he dies himself.Their bones were mingled together and burried in the same place so they would be with each other on the other side as well.
-Alexander And Hephaestion are , just like Achilles and Patroclus , life long companions and possible lovers .
They met when they both were teenagers , in their whole lives they were beside each other until death.
In Alex's journey from Macedonia to Asia , Hephaestion has always been with him. When he died just like Patroclus before Achilles , Alexander lost himself and died 6-8 months later.
Alexander considered himself as Achilles since he was descended from him and Hephaestion as Patroclus , even they visited Troy and left wreaths to their graves. Just lile Achilles and Patroclus they perished from history together.
