Appreciate this video! I'm two full years removed from my initial rupture, and after extensive rehab, i still occasionally get this "popping" sensation that I've seen called "crepitus". What does this mean, in practical terms, for my recovery? Thanks!!

Being from Canada and having gone through surgery myself last year, I find that NHS in UK leans heavily towards conservative treatment while in the US it's mostly operative. I don't think this debate will ever settle. Unfortunately, I did have some nerve injury as well from a very tight cast but since the sural nerve is sensory, not a big deal for me. What's most important is working with your physiotherapist to have a personalized plan that works for you. I came back to sport at about 8 months. Running and jumping. It does take time and is a humbling experience.
