ACIDYMETRY ANALYSIS - ACID BASE TITRATION PRACTICUM - TITRIMETRY ANALYSIS
Acidimetric titration is a method of acid-base titrimetric analysis. Acidimetric titration is a chemical analysis method used to determine the concentration of a base sample using a standard acid solution. The process involves adding an acid solution of known concentration to a base solution of measured volume, until the end point is reached. The end point is determined based on the color change of the indicator or using other methods such as pH measurement. In this experiment, the methyl orange (MO) identifier was used. From the volume of acid solution added, the base concentration in the solution can be calculated using the stoichiometry of the reaction that occurs between the acid and the base.
