I mean... yeah. Sure. Why not? I don't even know what a favorite is in this event. In the U.S. it took a 12.3 just to make the team. Ackera looks damn good. So do Russel and Butler and about...50-11 other people. This event is nuts. Keni Harrison, Nia Ali, ran 12.3's and got left at home. Mind you, Danielle Williams 12.43 WON the Worlds last year. Then there is JCQ, Devynne Charleton, Grace Stark, Tobi Amusan, Samba-Mayela. If you make the smallest mistake you go from first to not making the finals. Its that hot. Hottest event in track and field by a large margin.

T..Ackera PB in 100m is 11.09s while that of Amusan is 11.10s. Both have good 100m flat speed; Amusan runs the anchor leg of her country's 4x100m relays. Will likely do so in Paris. This shows how fast she is. While Ackera has a very good speed, her greatest asset to me is her mentalilty. I watched her after world championship last year crying for not getting a medal. Despite it being her first World Championship and she only just turned pro then! This shows she has this 'goal getter' mentality. Now,she is much better than last year. Only Ackera can stop Ackera from not getting a medal in Paris!!!

She was not crying because she didn't medal. She did not expect to. Her tears were for the rough year she had with injuries but still managed to get to the finals in her 1st major championship. We like to assume that we know what people are feeling

@@trimainebarnett8175 no shit Sherlock, she’s got great hurdling technique plus speed to kill , did you see how fast brown was in college there’s a famous race with her on KZfaq running a 3rd leg against Richardson relay team , brown ran a 22.40 over 200m in college and I believe nugent is a lot faster than brown ! 11.15 into such a strong head wind is like a 10.95 and this is just a training run!

I have her winning the gold. She has the fastest flat speed of everyone currently doing the hurdles. I hope she finds a way to use that to her advantage. One thing I notice about her is that she fixed her start too. With 0 wind that is 11.08 and with the maximum allowable +2.0 that is 10.97

This is amazing! As a hurdler myself, it amazes me how slow most female hurdlers are as sprinters while running 12.2’s, etc. (shows their technique is insane). But, I’ve been wondering a lot lately about ShaCarrim, Shelly, etc., and how fast they would runt he hurdles if they learned them. I can imagine ShaCarri or Shelly running 11.8!

Nugent is in great shape for the 100m hurdles with that time of 11.1 s into a headwind of -1.1m/s that would be about 10.90s for the 100m.
