Atria Laurent Sometimes you can get pretty nice condition books used. Idk if the public libraries near you do this, but where I am you can by 1-2$ novels that people have donated. I got the first and third Harry Potter books this way. Some bookstores have bargain book deals too. GL to you! Someday we’ll have a beautiful library too.

@Atria Laurent I hate those kind of humans who just buy books just for showing them off. Anyways, I have couple of tips for you. 1. Do chores or any other way you could earn money from (ex. cleaning, washing your pet) 2. Start off slow. 3. Earn and earn. 4. Go crazy when you have enough money. 5. Be patient when it comes to money (or don't, just like me) 6. Have a list of books you want to buy. 7. When you have more money than you expected, give yourself a gift, buy a limited edition of a book or the collectors item. 8. Start a bookshelf if you want to. See, you'll have to work hard for what you love.

That is so crazy! I was watching another booktuber do this tag yesterday and I went to look at my own bookshelf to see if I could find a book which starts and ends with the same letter and I chose the exact same book as you- The Book of Dust.

The first book I thought of for the 500-510 page challenge was The Gentleman’s Guide which is 501 Pages I believe without the acknowledgements.

Why do you think she should be proud of herself because of this? I'm genuinely curious. How is it better than having watched a lot of series on Netflix? I'm sorry if this is an odd question. I'm not trying to pick on you and I have nothing against her. I read a lot myself and I'm always surprised when it gets treated differently than any other hobby/leisurely activity. It kinda bothers me that I can't mention books without it coming across like bragging or people reading a lot into it.
