RO GA That sounds good on paper, I have bad acne and try nothing more than to let it breathe and treat it internally however some days you can't do anything about it but cover it up if it makes you uncomfortable. It's a delicate balance

i'm just curious, what is the schools reason to make make up not allowed? i find it so weird, here school don't have any look codes, you can literally do anything except going naked to school

yeah i had spots when i was a teenager and i got put on report for wearing makeup, they were total assholes about it even though i was crying in the teachers office because i hated my skin so much! EVENTUALLY about two years ago at age 24 my acne FINALLY went away and now i just get the occassional spot. i know how it feels to constantly need to wear makeup. my own family didn't see me without makeup for about 15 years, i would put it on before i came downstairs in my pyjamas for breakfast!

I love that you actually used a lot of the drugstore/cheaper options throughout this video. So many people do videos saying that drugstore products are awesome but use the higher end ones throughout. Love your videos :)

i love how you showed both options for drugstore and high end products and i am absolutely thankful that you did a Back to School makeup look with acne coverage emphasized in it. there are so many back to school videos out there that are practically useless for me to implement on, because i have acne and those tutorials either feature youtubers with clear skin or sheer coverage makeup. Love this. I had psoriasis on my face as a teenager and other kids called me 'fag burns' and 'pizza face'. Your acne coverage techniques also work for psoriasis. My school didn't allow makeup but the amount of us who flouted this rule was ridiculous, and I've since heard it's no longer in place. Love your videos Em xx

Maggie Thompson I'm glad you came out the other end smiling 'cause words can hurt. I left school 16 years ago and still at times I feel like that chunky, fat girl and the names they called me come flooding back. I refuse to get angry at them though. They're not worth it at the end of the day.

I love your channel and I really admire the way you help people who struggle with problematic skin. It would be awesome if you did a video about dating with skin issues; your experience with it, shallow superficial people, beauty standards, wearing makeup/not wearing make up on dates, being afraid to date because of insecurities related to skin, etc. I think a lot of people would find it very relatable and helpful! Hey Em! I LOVE your channel and always check for a new video. I had an idea! I'd love to know what products are the best for makeup (concealer, etc) that help fight acne at the same time. The only one I know of is Almay but I know there's more out there :) just a thought for a video.
