I find it humorous that no one seemed to figure out until now that KK accomplished what she set out to accomplish and no one realized it until this show. She set out to destroy the legacies of Spielberg and Lucas, and she did it with Iger’s help. And the fact that it’s taken this long for everyone to see it, when she’s been upfront about it for many years now. It’s her visceral and venom that she harbored and let it fester for many years now. This whole show was a therapy session for Leslie Headlamp. She is Osha, her sister that she had difficulties with growing up is Mae, and she went to work with Harvey Weinstein (Qimir), which by hooking up with him is subsconsiously justifying how she came to work with a monster....you have to wonder how aware she was of what he was doing and if she helped. And then I am guessing Sol is her father, who she kills. Lovely woman.

If Leslye headland had created a masterpiece. I would have been the biggest fan, but she created a poorly written, generic cinema photography at best. The most clunky editing I’ve ever seen. Headland had to explain every episode, which is woefully bad storytelling. And all for a small sum of $180 million . Surely at least one of the top Disney executives can see what we as star wars fans can see?

The thing that is weird about the Darth plagues thing is he was actually rich he built a empire he if I am remembering correctly played a role in the banking clan that is featured in some episodes of clone wars he was a baller and politicians knew of him I think that’s how he met sidious when he was a kid a politician’s kid and he whispered in his ear and fed his darkness because sidious had serial killer tendencies he tortured animals and all that so his master fed that and got him to kill his family making him the only one to inherit their wealth and power so it’s weird that they had him crawling out of a cave lol

Since Muun's have a life span of about 100 years. At best, Plagueis is about 12 years old. When Palpatine kills Plagueis, he is not in his senior years as a Muun. Also, to bleed a lightsaber crystal. You must hold it and focus all your hatred and anger INTO the crystal while connecting and accepting the dark side. You can't just be angry. It is not a simple process, and not everyone succeeds on the first attempt. It isn't like following a recipe where you do specific steps, and it works.

And it failed utterly because they followed the Abrams/Kurtzman formula that destroyed Star Trek; not only Kennedy/Headland don't know and understand SW, they made all this for people who don't watch and don't like SW. I can’t help it but having worked as a technician for many years, every time the character OSHA is mentioned I think she must appear in a reflective vest with a clipboard/ipad to inspect a worksite in the show. I haven’t watched a single episode because I even pushed it giving Ahsoka a chance (didn’t finish that) after being burned already too much.

My dad who is a huge Starwars fan and has been one since the first Starwars movie came out, told me that he no longer wants to receive anything related to Starwars as a present. Because he no longer likes Starwars due to what Disney did to it, the old pre-Disney stuff he'll hold a special place in his heart for, but he can't be bothered to keep up with it anymore. To hear my dad say this, was kind of heart breaking to me. For my whole life I had seen him get so excited about Starwars and sharing with me his enjoyment of the franchise. I watched as he was willing to give Disney Starwars a chance over and over again, hoping that maybe this time it won't be so bad. So to hear him give up, it was sad, and it made me realize just how far the Starwars franchise has falled. It has fallen so far that the prequel movies are being praised, and people are wishing for Starwars movies and shows to return to that quality.

Old Canon: Very Fun Kyber Crystals were actually sentient. It's almost a special symbiotic relationship between Jedi & their crystals. In fact there is even a species of sentient crystals called The Tsils. That Luke discovers in his adventures, during the book Planet of Twilight. One of my favorite novels. The Tsils are not quite the same as Kyber but it is fascinating idea!

I've never heard WDW so emotional. I'm right there with you brother. My 3 year old JUST fell in love with Phantom Menace: Darth Maul, Qui-Gon, Obi-wan. He is enjoying Episode 4. He really loves Darth Vader and Darth Maul. I'm happy but sad that I need to shield him from everything post Episode 6. It's frustrating. I was the biggest Star Wars fan until Disney. It's bad.

My take for what it's worth. Star Wars has always been about escapism. That I could live for a moment in this fantasy where good and evil exists but good will always prevail. But after this, I felt empty, in a bleak place where there is no good, no evil, all the lines are blurred. Those who I always thought of as bastions of good, the Jedi, are vilified, and we're asked to conclude that maybe Sith aren't so bad. I just did not have the good feelings when it was done.

anyone else notice how they completely wear out a series, THEN do “groundbreaking” things like endorse POC or LGBT as main characters or a “feminist lens” (not that these things should be groundbreaking or lesser than, just not as common in main media). its like they make sure it does terrible and “nobody wants to see it”. we do, just not when you already drove a series into the ground. i was done once Disney bought Lucas Films. the only ones i slightly liked were Rouge One and Solo. mainline series was trash. i refuse to watch Mandelorian or Acolyte. i loved the Asoka series on Cartoon Network when i was little. my dad raised me on the classic movies and LOTR, mum raised me on Harry Potter. so many new shows and movies just miss the mark by a longshot. needless to say, i havnt really been watching much media past 2016/2017. it all feels so pandery, repackaged, or just a remake cash grab.

Just a thought. The complete failure of The “Apocolyte” is no impediment to a continuance of it. It almost guarantees a Season 2 in today’s “modern” Disney. No one will watch, but it will still be made, because once it’s made, it’s out there forever. Expect more. There is always more money to fund propaganda. Always.

The got our their message out and lined their pockets with money. What do they care? They don't care for the IP, the lore, the fans, or anything other than their message and own self interests. Fans still want what they love and made them fans in the first place. We have just not had what we want for decades. This is not Star Wars and has not been other than a couple teaser glimpses and empty promises. Not just Start Wars, but Marvel, Indiana Jones, etc.

The funny thing about this show is how if you can imagine it with the twins plot removed from it, and every assassination was perpetrated by the jedi, and the whole sith situation is kept from the senate to prevent hysteria, the whole show is quite a good one.
