I loved the Washburn comparison! I would like to also see the Washburn WCG700SWE solid wood to Washburn WCG10SE layered back&sides comparison. I’m seriously looking at the G700SWE, but others have tried to talk me out of it: I’ve been advised to save up for a Martin or Taylor. There aren’t many videos out there with Washburns as the stars so, Thank you for your video showcase of Washburn. You guys are awesome. Kate

I wish I still had the Washburn my Grandma had bought brand new in '82. It was in Sunburst with tortoise pick guard. Not even a scratch on it. She played it less than 5 times and it just sat in the closet in its original case. After many years of me begging her to give it to me, she finally did right before she had passed unexpectedly 6 years ago. It still had all its paperwork and build card in the case and sounded so good and it became my number 1. I been trying to find one on the internet thats identical to it for the past few years, but have had no luck at all. Not even a pic of one. She told me she had paid a lot of money for it, thats all I know

Hey guys. Love your reviews. Here's one out of the box for you. Do a review on Zager guitars from America. These guitars are designed and built by Denny Zager. Hes the guy from Zager & Evans who wrote the smash hit in the year 25/25. I just bought a zad2oE and it sounds fantastic. This company can match it with any big brand guitar company at up to 50% off their prices. Some of the biggest names in the music industry are buying these guitars for recording and playing on stage. So check them out. You will be surprised.

I have a washburn nylon strings with Fishman electronics with dreadnought cutaway body and it's very a good price 159.00 at sweetwater. As for them two guys at Andertons they get on my nerves and have commented before. They put Jack Black under the bus. No pun meant, but this is a very good video. But it not a starter guitar, it depends on what you are your playing. I don't put mine in the case.

Yeah. They've been around a long time. I've played one that belongs to a friend of mine and it sounded pretty good, despite it being a laminated top guitar. The ones with a solid wood top or are all solid woods throughout sound better and will get better the more you play it.

They sound garbage, dull and lifeless, why buy a guitar with plywood back and sides in 2018 - Cort, Crafter etc will do you a splendid all solid guitar cheaper and better made. No excuse for this type of crap these days. Just say no to plywood kids - I can tell these 2 are smirking at how bad these guitars sound.
@Iazzaboyce
@Iazzaboyce 3 жыл бұрын
Did you know that top makers (even Martin) are producing guitars with laminated sides? Gibson have even sold guitars with laminated tops. There are advantages other than cost, as laminated back and sides are much less likely to crack and less susceptible to atmospheric irregularity. You say Cort and Crafter offer all solid guitars for less - this is no where near true. Though, it might be possible to find one second hand for less than a new Washburn.

Another so called expert, what matters is playability and sound to yourself. If you went into a shop blindfolded and heard all the guitars you could name every brand and wood types.....yeah of course you could , you're an expert.
