Thanks I appreciate it, my pops was born and raised in Acres Homes/Lincoln City. My oldest brothers from over there and I have an uncle that lives in Inwood over by Ike.

You are speaking straight facts. I remember coming there for the summer as a kid because that’s where my father is from; and I used to have fun and good memories. I remember the Jackson store. Mr & Ms Jackson would give me and my sister cookies and juice every morning haha. And PeeWee’s hamburger stand. But my pops would not allow us to go to Lincoln Park where they play basketball because it usually got wild at that basketball court; they always got to fighting or shooting. He went to M.C.Williams high school before Booker T Washington became the high school. My older brother lived out there too but he went to Big Ike.

In Acres Homes you have people that go to Aldine high school, Eisenhower, and some went to Nimitz. HISD you got Booker T Washington and Waltrip. Klein is Klein Forest. Loretta Devine is from Acres Homes. Her grand mother used to live in Garden city.
