Acrylic Abstract Art #7: “Tranquility of Soul”

I made this painting a while ago. A few weeks after I lost my sweetest and dearest mom.
She is with our Heavenly Father now 🙏🏻❤️
My other abstract paintings all have some “Rain” or “water” running down. I never did this knowingly...But I felt the paintings needed that.
With this one, I did not have the need to add the running water..It is finished and done..
It gave me a feeling of rest “Tranquility “ 😊 Just what my mom has now..

My dearest ladies, I’m sharing the void with you, remember this, as long as we remember them with love in our 💗 they will be always be alive in every moment of our lives. I know, my son Jason passed 25 yrs. ago, he had a great personality, charm, and compassion. Hope the best for you too, be safe, and I loved your painting. Thank you so much fo sharing. 😘🦋

I am so sorry for your loss. I got into painting when I lost my mom. I do it to feel closer to the 2 most amazing women in my life who are both with God. My Mom and my Grandma were amazing women. Your work is beautiful!

Larry Macedo Oh I am deeply sorry for your loss 😢 Losing your son at such a young age. I can not imagine. I have a son and daughter.. Losing a child is not the same as a mother.. Though its hard to miss my mom, I have had her with me for 37 years and I am grateful that God has given us 8 precious years after the diagnose of her cancer. The doctors only gave her 1. Thank you for sharing and God bless you❣️

This is beautiful...I'm so sorry about your Mom. I lost my Mom when I was only 32 years old. That was 27 years ago and I still miss her dearly...I believe they are always watching over us....and always with us💕💕💕

Sarah Thank you very much❣️ I only choose the colours and just go where it takes me. This took me a couple of days. I let it rest if I do not know how to go further and then suddenly I know what I want to do next and then I start again 😊

Autumn Moon Thank you❣️But I always felt like that! And was anxious to start a painting afraid to mess it up! But when I started acrylic pouring ( you need to let go and the outcome you cant controle) sometimes that did not work out but I had so much fun.. and with pouring you wast so much more paint, but when you let it dry you can pour right over it.. so then I thought: why would’nt I try abstract?? If I dont like it.. i can just paint over it! And so I did.. just a few months ago, and I am learning just to let go and not overthinking it 😊😊

carol johnson Thank you❣️ Why?? You know what? I always wanted to paint abstract and did try i lt a few times years ago.. but i made it myself so difficult! Before i even started i was stressing about colors and layout and i felt pressure. So many time i just did not even start and already quit. And some other times I tried to paint a picture that was in my head and that did not come out the way i wanted. After a year of acrylic pouring ( which is a technique you can not controle..) i thought.. If I can pour and don’t know the outcome of a painting and use so much paint.. I can try abstract and just see where it goes.. and If i don’t like it, i can paint over it! So my first was scary, but I enjoyed it! It is about letting go in your mind, and just do it.. do not over think it. Most of the time I choose the colors and just start and see where it ends.. And I do make these paintings on different days.. I stop at one point and go further the next day or a few days later 😊 I encourage you to go and do it❣️❣️❣️

Alyssa Vicari Thank you❣️ I got my brushes at a hardware store 😁 And my paletknifes at a paintstore. I just look around in my house to see what I got and at hobbystores.. You can use anything you want 😊

Hi Kenseal, thank you very much! Yes I let the paint dry between the layers, not always when I used my paletknife but when I used the brushes, I did. Oh I don't know how long it took 🙈 I know I painted when I had the time, and it lastest a few weeks, but the total footagetime of the video was probably 2 or 3 hours.. Thank you for watching ❣️

What colors did you use this is beautiful

Thank you ❣️If I remember correctly I used titinium white, black, silver, indigo blue, oker yellow and a little beige. I did mix the colours with eachother to create different variations of the colours 😅
