Hi everyone! Today we’re trying out the custom resin combs that ‪@ItsArtByDonna‬ made for the TAG Team! I absolutely love mine and can’t wait for you to see it. This combover is different than the previous ones I’ve tried, but the results are kind of cool. Let me know which style you prefer.

8”x8” square board
COLORS:
Amsterdam - Copper (cell activator)
Tri-Art Liquid - Cobalt Teal
Tri-Art Liquid - Golden Yellow
Tri-Art Liquid - Warm White
Tri-Art Liquid - Cerulean Blue
This Little Piggy - Zeus
PILLOW PAINT - PPG Multi-Pro Interior Eggshell White (47-3110)
POUR MEDIUM - 35 grams BEHR 3300 + 70 grams Polyurethane Triple Thick Water Based Semi-Gloss
*Tube Paints - add a small amount of paint to PM until you get desired color. To thin use JoSonja Gloss Varnish mixed with water (3:1 ratio).
*Pigments - disperse in JoSonja Gloss Varnish then add small amounts of PM at a time and mix. Use BEHR 3300 to thicken, if needed

This is a fun collab series you guys are doing. Love the color choices on this one, give us some beachy vibes, the blues remind me of caribbean waters and golden sand, the green is alike a hint of lush foliage on the edge of the beach. This was a fun technique.

This was SO cool! The live script was hard to respond to everyone bc it scrolls up too fast for me but I sure loved the outcome! Donna’s gorgeous combs work beautifully for this. I loved the results!!!💚💚💚 I actually tried this a couple yrs ago but not with a wide tooth comb. Will now try the wider combs. Love it August!!!

Hey August, sorry I missed the premier again, mornings are just really hard for me. Cool use of Donna’s comb beautiful colors. Did you prep the wood at all before you poured?

No worries on the premiere. For prepping the wood I’ll usually put some pillow on, scrape it off/wipe it, then let it dry (Shelee told me about this way). But I grabbed this board and didn’t realize it was fresh. It hasn’t warped so fingers crossed, lol.
