Hi Olga. Most viewers replying here say you should stick it on the window. You could go one step further and cut out star and other shapes and then stick them on the window. These would be ideal for glass patio doors so that they can warn people that the door is closed. i.e. That they do not walk into the door.

I'm so happy this worked for you on the larger canvas. Couldn't have happened to a sweeter, more talented acrylic paint pouring artist. If you still wanted to swipe with plastic wrap, maybe wrapping excess around a dowel or other thin stick, then using stick to pull wrap through paint. I can't even see edge where wrap didn't go through paint--cells must have grown into the space.

Moved from 60/40 mix water/Floetrol to 60/40 Floetrol/water...we'll see. I now have three different mixes. Did three drops of silicone in each...did what you said on stopping on the torch...glad I did. Keep it up! Eating this with a spoon! :) Things I'd like to see you do: 1. Black light blowout 2. I haven't done the 3d object, and can't give any particular advice. I know many artists who do vases and ornaments, but nothing with cells. The problem is that gravity really plays against you in this technique. And personally, I always make sure the surface is 100% leveled when I want to get cells. Possible alternative - pour over contact paper and stick to where you want it.

As always, I love watching you make your paintings. You have an analytical brain and are not afraid to use it! Nothing against the intuitive approach, but I personally must use my analytical brain, because that's all I have. I am not a painter (just really enjoy watching people make their art). My medium is sugar. I make beautiful, realistic flower arrangements all out of sugar. So my ears really perked up when you started talking about your silicone mat. Thank you for that recommendation! It will be enormously helpful for me to be able to cover my whole working area with a single (Mega Rectangle) silicone mat that the sugar will not stick to!

A suggestion for handling the plastic wrap on larger canvases. Use a dowel rod, or broom handle, and before you pour, wrap the dowel with one end of the wrap, and then put it out of the way. When you're ready to swipe, use the dowel as a handle and swipe. Just a thought. Awesome results there too.

I don't have a torch yet but I painted the canvas light/sky blue. Then I mixed my paint with pouring medium and a touch of water, added 3 drops of silicone oil to the paint cuos. I put lines of paint colors then added white to the top and swiped with a paper towel. Idk if it'll create cells cuz I don't have the torch and the silicone oil doesn't produce much cells but it was fun trying. Then my next one I put the same colors I used for the 1st swipe one then in a random order I put the colors sideways on the canvas, let them stretch a bit and cover the corners and I'm waiting for them to dry. I can only see like about 15-25 small cells but I'll try again soon. I think my consistency was good this time but I need to work on that too. Thank you for being an inspiration

I'm very new to this art form/hobby. thanks for making this easy to understand for us NOOBs. I gave the paints you use here a try and boy, are they great for a beginner. In the end, my version of this painting came out killer and I appreciate the video. I'll be sharing my experiences on my KZfaq channel to try and help other new artists through my goof ups. You rock...

Thanks so much for this video. I’ve never poured before and my daughter needed an art project for school!! It turned out amazing!!! We didn’t have plastic wrap so I cut a section of plastic bag. Being thicker than plastic wrap it was super easy to handle.

Wow, you have to do a third one now to make a family!!!👨‍👩‍👧🎨😆. Sadly I cannot take advantage of the brilliant offer for the mat; shipping to the UK 'and all that'. Maybe when I am rich? No, scrap that ~ I'll never get one if I wait for that day😁.... Absolutely incredible results with your larger version. Having spent yesterday either watching your past videos or reading your website ~ Oh golly. If it's possible to be even more of a fan.....?!! But seriously, Olga, you truly are one of a kind. A majorly talented artist, an inspiration, a fantastic teacher who is passionate and generous!! You obviously work so hard; your attention to detail, your knowledge, the way in which you write. Even the look and layout of your website is inviting!! HUGE respect🛐!! (& a small measure of envy🤢)! Thank you!!! C🕉😉🐾🐾

Beautiful cells! I've used skins on canvas to make a skin painting with them. I used glue to put them on. You could also used gesso.
