im using this tutorial to make a painting for a close family friend, who is currently in pt and can’t have visitors in his room, for an accident which paralyzed him from the chest down. his only request to put on his wall is a sunset. he just turned 21. i think this will really bring him peace to look at. so pretty 💕

for anyone who's having trouble instead of commenting something like "i made it so much uglier than yours, i'm so bad at painting" reflect on your mistakes and takes notes on what you struggle on. i know it can be frustrating, but being in a negative mindset like that will keep you from progressing. instead tell yourself "it may be bad now, but i know i will do better" it's hard to stay motivated if you're not in the right mindset. what ever you make, it's still special. at the end of the day, it's still a painting that you made and put effort into! that's enough to prove that you're talented 💕
