Acrylic pour wine glass!!!

Күн бұрынFor a while I've been trying to think of the most food-safe yet beautiful way to acrylic pour a wine glass and I think I have figured it out :) I'm totally in love with this super simple project.
Materials used:
MMG pouring paint: White, deep sea, tur-qua, Caribbean teal (mixedmediagirl.com/product-ca... )

I have a double turner. I love it. I can make 2 items at a time. The colors on this glass are gorgeous!

i'm actually wanting to try glasses and glass plates soon also. I heard that you can use food say modge podge to coat with so its totally food safe :)

I love it. I've been wondering how to use the resin to seal it if I don't go all the way to the rim. I do wonder if one coat of the resin will be enough. What are your first thoughts on this since you haven't had time to really experiment with it it?

This is so pretty! I recently got stonecoat quick coat for my tumblers...is it OK to use to seal my tumblers instead of art coat?

Pretty! What would happen if you used a heat gun to manipulate the colors and have your ever mixed alcohol inks in as well?

Is there a way to do this with resin without having a glass/cup Turner ? I have paint poured mine but all the way to the top? I was thinking of using it as a candle holder instead, but need a good way of protecting the paint ? Any suggestions are more than welcome 😊

1) do u mix the paint with anything? 2) is the reain already mixed? 3) wouod u use rubbing alcohol to wipe off any small splatters on the drinking part?

Do you have to bake the glass in the oven before adding the resin? Do you bake it again in the oven once you've added the resin? Beautiful!!!

Can you add a letter after you resin?

I would add the letter before you resin it. Then the resin will seal it in 😊

I would, but I'm also pretty sure you could wash it in a dishwasher

@Belinda Hupp @Mixed Media Girl I tried washing one in the dishwasher. The heat of another glass that was touching it left marks so I don't recommend it.
