Canvi is not a word in English. It is in Catalan, a dialect/sub-language spoken in the Catalonia region of Spain. In that tongue "a canvi" would translate roughly to "in exchange". To pluralize canvas in English (American), one merely uses canvases. (In the UK, canvasses is the typical form.) But, (tossing the grammar soapbox aside), that has little to do with painting! Have fun. It's a shame you can't post a photo of your version of this painting.
