Could you please show the spinner without the canvas and explain how you attached the wood in X formation? Also how you prepared canvas on back and attached tape to secure? Love your work and flick and spin!
@AnnukkaArtStudio

Hi Sherry! It’s a regular 12” aluminium spinner with bearings. The X is 4 pieces of wood cut in a way that makes them interlock - much like puzzle pieces. And the canvas, I place it on the X, make sure it’s level in all directions, and take a length of duct tape that I position in place from below the arms of the X - in a way that it adheres to both the underside of the X arm and the frame of the canvas.

Hi Annukka, congratulations for 1k subs. Love your workstation for spinning wheel. This formed a beautiful flower with gorgeous bloom. It's fun to watch the flicks. But can't help to ask, it just amuse me how it would be like pulling out those dry paints Lol. 🥰❤

Thanks so much! I got mine off Amazon, look for an aluminium cake spinner with bearings. I made extenders/handles for it with some 1x7cm molding wood.

Hi Leslie! Thanks so much for stopping by to leave a comment, I appreciate it 😍 The torch is purely to pop air bubbles, with paints this thin it’s advisable to slow down drying time to prevent cracking. Hope that makes sense! I’d be more than happy to elaborate, nerd here loves the science part 😝
