Folientechnik, Tropftechnik mit Alkohol, Negativmalerei und Collage Plastic Wrap Technique, Dripping with alcohol, negative painting and collage
Diese Techniken zeige ich im Verlauf dieses Videos. Mit ihnen schaffe ich eine Art mehrlagigen Hintergrund, der mich anschließend bei der Ausarbeitung leiten kann. Wie immer arbeite ich intuitiv und aus dem Bauch heraus, das Bild entsteht beim Malen.
I show these techniques in the course of the video. I create a kind of multi-layered background that can then guide me in my elaboration. As always, I work intuitively and from the gut, the painting process is guiding me.

I carefully watched this twice with my morning coffee. You give us a "permission slip" to express freely. You go far beyond working with "happy accidents"; you actively partner with the medium, seeing what it wants to do and taking turns expressing yourself. Sharing this is such generosity! This is one of my favorites of yours, Gerda. I am smitten with your ability to make something beautiful from nothing. Such wonderful layers and thoughtful playful painting on your part. I learn from just watching. Two things I have to remember; Layering lays the groundwork for the rest of the painting, I need to not think so much about the outcome, but instead the process. Ich bin immer wieder begeistert von den Techniken, mit denen Du Deinen Bildern Leben einhauchst. Das Endergebnis ist fantastisch. Mir hätte auch schon die Zwischenstation mit den weißen Blumen gefallen und war etwas verstört als dann alles übermalt wurde. Es hat sich aber doch gelohnt.

..ich bin sprachlos 😶, die Entstehung ist so beeindruckend. Die Formen zu sehen, oder besser entstehen zu lassen, sieht so einfach aus, aber ist es für mich gar nicht.
