ACS Migration skills assessment (work reference letter)

This is from Pristine Australia Migration (PAM) by Registered Migration Agent Sujith Billa is on the Australian Computer Society(ACS) Skills Assessment and the challenges faced by applicants in getting roles and responsibilities right in their work reference letters. It talks about the outdated ANZSCO descriptions and refers to some of the submissions concerning Inquiry into Australia's skilled migration program.
ACS Migration Skills Assessment can be used for a Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) Points-tested stream, Subclass 190 Skilled Nominated visa, Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) visa (subclass 491) & Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) visas.

What should be the end date on the current job? should we write "till date" or the date when letter is issued?

Hi sujit, I have a query. Can anyone add 4 months of full time internship experience in software development when submitting the acs assessment for the role of software engineer?

Hi Sujit Thanks for the informative video. My question is. In addition to an employer reference letter can testimonial letters from senior professionals also be written for the skills assessment. The reason I ask is that senior professionals with colorful CVs and certifications vouching for your skills may add credibility to the application.

Hi Ahmed, it’s not in the hands of states today open for offshore ict professionals. We need to see what the May budget says about travel restrictions and the planning levels for next financial year. Also, look out for the next intergenerational report

Hi Sujith, I have 12+ years of experience in the IT industry as a Business Analyst, do I need to provide reference letters for all my employers...or can I provide letter for employers I have been associated with in the last 5 years..?

Hi Sujith. I worked for companies like Wipro HCL. They don’t mention roles responsibilities in exp letter. It’s not possible to get letter from them after leaving company. As you saying discuss with employer , whom should I discuss with? There are 200K + employees there. HR guys don’t entertain the ex employees. What’s way forward in this situation?

Hi Vivek ? Is your doubt cleared, because i have the same question, we only get a experience letter mentioning your position and start and end date. No job roles are mentioned in the letter, will that be enough? Did u get your doubts cleared ?

Hi Denrick D'souza, there's some information in ACS Skills Assessment Guidelines on what is expected when a work referece letter can not be obtained.
