We are kicking off our three-part London series with a visit to Kiln in SoHo for what might be a new record in dishes served during one sitting on FTD. Then we headed back to Mangal II to see how the brothers Dirik had updated their family's Turkish restaurant. This episode is full of grilled meats, seasonal produce, wine, and even a live performance from Action and his band, Human Growth Hormone.

@@TuempelchenThey definitely come across a bit more disconnected Vs their legendary From Paris with Love series but I don't think we can read much into it based on these short clips. FPwL was very much Action & Clovis whereas this is a lot more Action in a group and interacting more with the chef and staff. There's some lovely photos of them together soon after this was filmed where they appear close. Will have to see what they're like in the following two episodes

I think the fact that clovis (especially his teeth) looks like he doesnt take good care on himself and maybe was high on some stuff, threw Action a bit off. but yeah, lets see where this is gonna go

That food looked and sounded insane. Mutton is so underrated. I've never even thought of sausage and strawberries, but it immediately made sense when the chef mentioned vinegar. I've used balsamic to kick upm the flavor of unripe strawberries for years, and to add salty and/or spicy sausage marries perfectly. And that apple butter, the pork chop, the baklava, and that langousitine dish. Damn! Why do I have to be broke?

Woah big up Sertac Dirik :') wasn't expecting to see him here. Used to drink together as teenagers as part of a larger friend group. He always had a strong work ethic, he'd dip and go to work.
