Dear Nipun, Thank you for the video. I come from the eastern U.P. and have been in Uttarakhand for seven months by fate. These days I am living in a secluded village. A Shiv temple is right beside my place. This temple is known for its fierce stories. I am told by villagers that many people could not live in the room I am living in now as the Devta is very strict. I shifted to this new place a few days back. I have Ketu Moon in my 8th house and I am Sagitarrius ascendent. I feel my heart is pure. Today is a special day for me to have a new start in my life where I will post a singing video every day for 108 days on my KZfaq channel. I am starting with a Shiv Bhajan singing in that temple. As I am writing this comment, I am moving forward in the day by cleansing myself within and without, cleaning my room, and preparing for going to the temple. Im also from Uttarakhand, Kumaon and we have this Jagar done every year. Even this year on amavasya we did a jagar of Golu Devta an incarnation of lord Bhairava

Not only Uttarakhand this happens in most parts of India. In Maharashtra we call this Jagran Gondhal, the ones we call to perform these rituals are called Gondhali. Also the term for Mata rani is "Devi yete" I might be wrong about this term though.

Wow...what an interesting video I just watched! It was recommended maybe because I watch videos about Hindu philosophy and India. I know very, very little about astrology. A friend of mine took an introductory course on Jyotish and she practiced with my birth info. I remember that I have Ketu in the 8th house, born under Rohini Nakshatra. I never have had experiences with that kind of entities or Devatas (maybe because I was born in the West), but I have been drawn to Yoga and Hindu spirituality from very early in my life. I LOVE India and I was initiated in the Advaita tradition at the age of 19. I liked very much your comment on people who visit Uttarakhand to go beyond Rishikesh and Haridwar. I have visited many interesting places in Uttarakhand and met Yogis and Yoginis who live in remote villages. I had beautiful experiences in Bhavishya Badri and Basukedar village. Kedarnath is in a whole other level. Mahadev lives there!
