@@adityapathak241 they were pretty good at fighting, they literally trained from birth. They were elite, it was when they started enlisting anyone and everyone into the army and broke tradition, then their army grew in number but weaker in strength this led to the downward spiral of the quality of men in the fighting force. If they'd kept up with the criteria that they always had they would've been successful militarily at least for fighting infantry. Quality soldiers is important. Either you severely outnumber or heavily outclass your enemy. For India outnumbering is easy. But other nations have quality men.

Have a look on indian para , Marcos , black cat commondos. Also read about recent galwan valley incident where Indian soldiers were half as many Chinese soldiers(also well equipped) , yet Indian soldiers killed twice their number of soldiers

One rocket from a stealth jet can take out 100 soldiers. If military equipment wasn’t important than none of the countries you mentioned would bother buying upgraded equipment and yet they do. I get that we are all patriotic but let’s get real here.

It never had any meaning. Those 175k were never "soldiers". They were citizens who were simply trained here and there how to shoot. If they were real soldiers, Taliban would never have won.

I think Bangladesh should ramp up its military and get it into Top 20 atleast because since Bangladesh is going to be a major power in Asia in future..so maybe with military you guys can spread your influence faster.
