3:00 I just absolutely love the skeptical attitude the cop here takes. “I just drove past the school and everything LOOKED fine.” Dude, it’s an active shooter situation, he’s not gonna start a giant fire or hang a giant sign from the rafters announcing his presence. Maybe you’ll get a few people running from the building, maybe some screaming, but everyone was just told to lock their rooms down and hide, so that isn’t really a thing here.

I mean, he said "10-4" which in almost every agency is Affirmative/Acknowledged. While is it possible the company meant to use "code 4" which means No Further Assistance Needed. Obviously I can't totally confirm the state this agency is in, I can make an educated guess it's a state in New England given their badge holder w/ citation bars design. I'm not arguing with you, just clarifying the sentence. Seems like they meant it as code 4 however, so that's definitely a screw up.

Garret R on scene usually means you're in the within a certain distance of a target location, so you would still have to get to the actual location (say the exact location being the school parking lot) as fast as you can, which is why you would use your lights and sirens to get there as quickly as possible.

A guy came to my gas station and shattered the front door glass, ran in and stabbed my worker (wasnt a deadly stab cuz the knife was small) we called the cops 7-10 times and they took 15 minutes to show up. The cop station in about 5 minutes away too.
