Dang! I just bought a Active 2.0 and a MTM 28 short gun. It was not on your website, so I didn't even consider it.

I'm glad you guys chose to just offer it with a swivel and stainless fittings. I originally bought an MTM SG28 with brass and no swivel and I have to say the swivel really is worth whatever extra cost it adds for usability. The brass started to corrode up inside the gun and not having a swivel sucked.

MTM has the SGS28 with stainless fittings and swivel for approx the same price. I will be very interested in learning how the Active short gun compares to the SGS28 in weight, feel, durability, balance, trigger etc. looking forward to availability.

@@cue03 Yeah I ended up buying the SGS28 but for people that don't already have one this may end up being a better option.

Only the swivel and the quick connect is stainless steel? Or are all the internals stainless? If not then what are the internals made of?

My biggest annoyances that would be very unique if they were addressed: there's no good way to lay the gun down with foam cannon attached, and it's difficult to pick up with wet or soapy hands when flat on the ground. Constant on would be useful if there's not a safety or regulatory concern.

That’s an interesting insight. The key design constraint on that (for now) is making the foam cannon removeable (as many customers only use it part of the time) and where it has to sit along the gun. But you have our wheels turning!

@ACTIVEPRODUCTS I'm loving what you guys implemented so far, things I've never seen any other company do. One more thing to add, a type of hook or design feature that would allow the gun and hose to hang from a shelf. Being able to hang the gun would be so, so very convenient while in use and for storage too. Thanks for listening, making great products, and making them affordable!

Holding out for a 2.0 with this gun :-) That does however raise the question of the hose, have you considered getting ProPulse to manufacture your hose? That would look great colour matched [grey preferred, but yellow would look good to] to the new gun...

What are your views on using well Water with a 2.0 I have a separate hose bib with softened water. really like the 2.0 I received from you. Can’t wait for the gun. I have an MTMSG 28 not very happy with it.

It could give off a different result than using a regular source of water. We don't have enough data and tests to come to a conclusion.

$80 for it? Seems high, I paid 250 for a cat 1800 and the first unit lasted 1 month before it sprung a huge leak and the replacement unit you sent seems to keep surging. Not impressed.
