Hey Max, can you send OTN via external requests? Or a message to all your subscribers at the same time via an external request? For example: your customer has customers of his own, which agree to receive an OTN. Can you use external requests, so that you customer can do an action in his own facebook chatbot, to send an OTN on his own WITHOUT having to call you (the company) via phone etc? This would be next level awesome, if you know how to do it and can make a video about it. edit: my idea so far was like this here: I manually give my customer a separate TAG which only he has and no one else. E.g. "PageOwner". Then, when he scans the QR code that also his customers scan, he will in turn be directed in a separate kinda vip like flow which only he can access because of the tag. There is a condition right after the QR code growth tool optin, which directs him there. After that, I create a flow where I ask him if he is ready and wants to send out an OTN message with a special offer to his own customers. If he clicks yes, then he is asked to type in the exact message, which is captured at that point through a user_input field. (you can even catch a long text and also emojis which is awesome). After that, the exact message he typed in will be displayed for him, so he can check if he likes it this way and if he maybe has any typing errors etc. He now has 2 options via quick replies. 1) yes, continue. 2) no, let me re-do it. if 2), then the input from the custom_field will be deleted and he is redirected to a few steps before, where he is asked to type in his message again. If 1), he will then send out his message and a bot-field that i created before, now changes from 0 to 1. Another flow or rule has nothing else to do but to wait until this one bot-field changes to 1. If so, a little flow will start, where the OTN message will be sent out and also an API request to the "PageOwner" will be sent after that with a quick notification to him that everything went fine. Until here I have no problems. BUT. The problem is, that the OTN message is sent to the "PageOwner". I know that you can send a message through an external request to others, I actually just learned it today. But it asks for "subscriber_id": ___; there. Which is no problem, if you only want to send out a message to one person. BUT. HOW do I send this out to multiple people automatically? I dont want to capture each and every user_id from every subscriber ever in a SEPARATE custom_field and then put all those custom_fields somehow in an order in the external request. Or worse, put them in an order through google sheets and then back into manychat. This sounds way too complicated. So. Is there a way to basically send a One-to-Many message via an external request at all? If so, the rest I could easily handle myself. But With the content above you are free to do a guide for people. Hey Sebastian! Very interesting idea! I think it's possible, but like you said, the problem is that you can only send one message at a time with the sendFlow api you can only send it to one person at a time. So an idea would be to create a separate database on your website, and then trigger a script that sends it to every user id in that database. I don't know exactly how to do that, as I'm not a programmer. But I think it's possible. Let me know if you figured it out! 😄

@@maxvcollenburg Figured it out after a long 16hour day of trial and error :D Thanks for your reply max. So I tried different things and I know it certainly should be possible without integromat but what happened for me is this: I made a rule that instantly stores user_IDs to my google sheets sheet after optin. Created serveral Fb fake accounts because I dont have manychat subs yet and subscribed them to my chatbot, so their user_ids get stored into my google sheets sheet. I created just a few flows. With conditions etc. And every time one whole loop was done through all the flows, a bot-field increased by 1. At the beginning of the "flow-loop" there is an action that gets data from google sheets. Based on the number from the bot-field mentioned above it gets the next row's information. So that after each "loop", basically the next user_id from google sheets gets temporarily inserted into a custom field, to which then the next loop of flow starts. During this "loop" of flows there is an external request that increases a CUSTOM_field by 1 to this particular user_id. there is a rule that triggers for everyone as soon as this CUSTOM_field is=1. It's way harder to put all that information into ONE external request MESSAGE. So by increasing the CUSTOM_field by 1 and using that as a trigger I can use a whole flow and conditions and their data in their flow more easily. So yeah. That worked. But after ~the 4th or 5th loop through the user_id's the flows stopped. I have no idea why. I just couldnt make it work this way. But i am more than certain that it is possible. So because the rest worked, i found a way around my problem through integromat. Integromat just smoothly does one action after the other. So yeah. Now I outsourced it through a really simple integromat trigger in a 3 step sequence. Step 1: Trigger from manychat Step 2: get data from my google sheet (ALL user_ids is counted as 1 action in integromat which is quite nice. saves money there) Step 3: send flow to user_id. You dont even need more than 1 column in your google sheet. Only that one column with the user ids. Integromat automatically stops when it sent flows to all found user ids. In that flow then there is the condition that only lets people through who: a) are still within the 24hour window b) opted in to that one OTN (in another part of my flows, each time a customer scans a QR code in order to get an additional bonus point on his share card, the 24hour rule gets resetted that way. + the otn permission is asked again. That way you have never ending new customers to receive the message/flow). So then the message is also compliant with Facebooks 24hour policy. Works quite nice. So now I have this one tag that a local business owner for example a hotel owner gets. And whenever he has a special offer and wants to get people in fast (same would be possible for club owners etc), he just opts in through the SAME QR code that is standing physically on his desk. And because he has "HotelOwner" Tag, he gets shown a message+button that no one else gets shown. And then he taps "yes, send offer". After that he is asked to type in his offer exactly the way he wants it to be shown to his customers/audience. He types it in. Then he is asked to send it or retry. After sending, the integromat gets triggered. And the rest is explained above. So the thing is that he now can easily trigger a message spontaneously. I will delete this comment after a few days max. I want you to know the solution. Make a screenshot if you need. This thing is something worth a lot of money. And I'm going to build my business around it here in germany shortly. You can use it to educate people, make a video about it or something if you like. This is a way to thank you for your help. Without you i might have not reached my goal. Peace edit: the message gets stored to a user_input field which can only be stored in CUSTOM_fields. [through integromats step1: trigger you can pull that data easily out into step 3 where you send the flow/message] edit2: made it more understandable edit3: Actually in step3 in integromat a custom_field gets changed for the user_ids pulled out from google sheets. And then there is a rule that triggers in manychat every time this custom_field is changed. If you just send a flow, it doesnt contain the actual offer. So this way the flow does contain the actual offer which everything is about, while saving steps in integromat as much as possible.

Hey Max ! I would have a litte question for you : what is the best way to set up threshold points on Active Campaign ? Do I have to create two automations : one dividing these various categories into different lists, and then assign a certain number of points to these lists ? @@maxvcollenburg Thank you MAx, the question is, How do you trigger the first mail to be send? I've only found a way which is to add a tag whenever I want to send it right away. There is no way of sending a Campaign and then wait for this mail to be open and then do something. or even more, to send a campaign and do something if they didn't open the first email. We do it creating an automation with adding a tag in the contacts and then this triggers the send of the 1st email and then second, etc... that way you can do what ever you want if they DIDN't open the 1st. But I think this is too tricky. Thank you!

Hey Darren! Always check if the contact didn't open the email AND didn't click any links in an email. That way, the resend will only be send to people who didn't open the email, but also didn't click links inside the email. We check both because the ActiveCampaign tracking pixel is sometimes blocked, but link tracking always works. Hope that makes sense 🙃
