What a bullshit . Just because of an anthem ? I like the defqon anthem way more because its insanely good. But this is also a really good track with nice summer vibes. But have you seen the line up for sunday for decibel its so bad that I even don't go on a sunday. This is the first time i won't go because its that bad. And defqon has 4 days of an amazing line up (saturday is pretty bad tho)

​@@jelleadriaansen8840 Defqon.1 has become a money grab for what it was before. It is still quite cool to go to, but it is increasingly becoming attractive to go to festivals other than Defqon. Intents for example have a better quality of production now than Defqon, a lot of people that I've met over years of raving, have been saying that. Decibel is more attractive and actually feels like a festival that is music and party-oriented. Now let's talk about the anthems: Defqon.1 2023 anthem is quite weak for this year. SZP has lost its edge and shock-and-awe effect for a couple of years now. If Q-dance hadn't made a mistake and given the anthem rights to the SZP instead of Project One for the Maximum Force, we would have had quite a banger of an anthem. Don't take this as any other than my personal opinion. But talking about this year's anthem what SZP has made: * It's forced * Has weird flow * Quite disappointing and boring * Just does not portray what Defqon actually is * Does not have any kind of an effect that this is a festival anthem I am not going to go into the production level, since I am not a professional artist, but as a hobby, they still did quite a good job making a track, but it has missed it's spot for what it is supposed to be. Over-use of psy-style kicks, and weird combinations it just feels like they either were on a tight deadline or have been forced into something they didn't want to do but did anyways. The discussion is not for this at the moment. Now let us take the Decibel anthem in comparison to the Defqon.1 anthem: * It's energetic * Has a feel of a festival * Actually hyping for the event * There is a flow of energy * Can be on repeat and sticks with you fast So in the end, out of two Decibel 2023 anthem takes ahead from Defqon.1 2023 by far. Line-ups are a completely different topic, besides the number of days for the party, which is irrelevant to the anthem I believe Decibel would be more fun-packed than Defqon for 4 days :)

I can certainly follow you in this comment. The 2 subjects are completely different and both have a different vision. But I think the vision & organization of Decibel Outdoor is a level higher at the moment! I'm mainly talking about organizing & designing the park. But unfortunately Defqon will always be appreciated more. Because it's Defqon. (the motherland of hardstyle). But my heart is still with Decibel. I've been following Decibel since 2013 and their history is really beautiful! The park has beautiful stages, fun activities & cool extras on the festival site. I also think the festival location is a plus here. In the middle of the forest, next to a lake.. What else do you need!

Intens is the next big thing. Look at the themed stage and look at the "oh we have a red mainstage look like every stage before" - i said that with a defqon tattoo on my arm
