She’s a true genuine woman. Always enjoyed being in class with her at Temple, she’s such an inspiration and she builds people up and cheers for them not against them.

No, Gayle, no one is confusing Danielle Brooks and Da'Vine Joy Randolph. They look completely different and are beautifully unique and talented in their own rights. That was a rude and reductive comment to make and it just reinforces negative stereotypes. But Da'Vine is such a pro and responded with such grace.

On God I noticed it as well.That‘s something she should have told her off camera & Da‘vine was there to promote her movie not TCP.Afterall no one is confusing the two she just made that up & is probably mad that her friend‘s movie tanked at the golden globes.

I was about to write that also. I saw her in Ghost the musical on Broadway in 2012 on my 42nd birthday. She played the Whoopie Goldberg role from the movie. It's awesome to see her go from Broadway to the screen. I've enjoyed her acting in all the shows I've seen her in and hope to continue to do so. Congratulations!
